I didn't like the service provided by the reception staff at all. The first sentence, in an arrogant tone, was that they only speak Portuguese. The cafeteria opens at 10am, so if you want to have a coffee before leaving it's complicated. The sauna and Turkish bath weren't working and the rooms were average, I don't think it's a 4-star hotel.

Very good service and very large apartments, very good option to visit Ponta Delgada

Beautiful, very quietly located complex with apartments and hotel rooms. The complex is located in the quiet village of Capelas, a fifteen-minute drive from the capital and the airport. A car is a must, but you still need it to visit this beautiful island. Our 2-room apartment was very spacious and clean. The beds were fine with a choice of two pillows. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, Nespresso machine (cups for a fee) and kettle with free tea. For the sake of the environment, the hotel wants to encourage guests to use the cleaning service less. If there is no cleaning, you will receive a voucher of €3 per day to spend in the restaurant. However, €3 is not worth much in this restaurant, as the prices are high: a cappuccino costs €3.50 here, while on the entire island the prices for coffee are around €1.20. You have to ask for the vouchers yourself, I I didn't think it was a useful system and the compensation is of course completely disproportionate (€3 versus no cleaning, towels, bed made, tea and bottle of water replenished). We found the restaurant where we had coffee with the vouchers unpleasant. Didn't use the sauna, fitness room and indoor and outdoor swimming pool, so I can't judge this either. Sufficient parking space. Enjoy a nice coffee among the locals in the Moby Dick cafeteria in the village. Supermarkets Pingo Doce and Continentale are nearby and within car distance. All in all a great stay.

The apartments are large, bright and well equipped!! The bedding is comfortable. The hotel staff attached to the apartments are very friendly and welcoming. We opted for the hotel breakfast which is not very good and the restaurant is not very qualitative for the prices offered. Otherwise great stay!!

6 nachten in 2-kamer appartement. Alleen ontbijt in appartement. Keuken inventaris is voldoende. Ook pannen en 2-pits fornuis aanwezig. Met grote koelkast. Comfort van 2 persoonsbed is goed en slaapbank. Slaapbank niet geschikt als zitbank vanwege diepte. Instap in douche onvoldoende door hoge opstap ligbad. Buitenbad leggen met diepte 90-140 cm. Binnenzwembad water is troebel door chloor.

Escolhemos os apartamentos porque íamos com uma bebe de 18 meses, a opção mais acertada, acesso à piscina interior do hotel e pequeno almoço incluído, tudo óptimo. O quarto era bom, a cozinha tinha tudo o que era necessário para refeições rápidas. O wc do quarto é que já merecia uma renovação.
