From the moment I made the booking I received excellent service, I had to make changes to my stay and it was organised with no huge fuss , I arrived and was informed of the facilities and activities that were on offer . I booked in immediately a few massages for my rest periods and quad biking tour , sunset & night tours . The room was as advertised very well fitted out and modern with a beautiful mountain backdrop with the sun setting in front of my room . The staff were very friendly and informative on the animals and the history of the park and surrounding areas . Plenty of great hiking trails which I did , bike trails to do or just rest at the pool and relax , massages were fantastic they knew what they were doing . Had a great time with Hein on quad biking tour . Won’t be my last visit hopefully next time with my partner ! Don’t put off going for a get away you will never forget. Terence from Australia

It’s so beautiful and quiet there. Perfect for birds, I saw two kinds of sunbirds and southern Korhaans. They are purposeful about caring for the environment and the animals and it shows.

The service sentric destination had all the hallmarks for a well run business emphsisingthe guest as king. the accommodation was first class and the staff really went out of their way to provide a warm welcome and continued service experience throughout the stay. The food offering was varied and delicious. Definitely going back. This out of the way destination allows you reconnect and lesson the issues we have in our busy lives these days.

Stay right in the heart of theunique Cederberg Mountains. Chizelda at reception did an excellent job with our booking and reception at Kagga Kamma. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food in the restaurant, woth the lodge being so remote. The activities on offer were great and os suitable for every age group. The Spa made the weekend extra relaxing. Dont miss the sunsets or star gazing at Kagga Kamma!

The roads to Kagga Kamma is in poor condition and a 4 x 4 is a must. The chalet we lived in had the smallest shower I have ever seen in my life. They are not catering for smokers. When it rains (as was the case when we visited) it is extremely slippery on the tiles of the verandha. Although the area has a unique beauty and is a photographer's paradise, I will not go there again.

We were treated exceptionally well while celebrating our 40th anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make it special - the views are soul comforting and the silence sublime. I completed some of the 4x4 trails ,some of which were a challenge in places but nothing a high bodied vehicle cannot traverse without a bit of thought.We were surprised on our return to the cave with a beautiful 'swan' arrangement with champagne and flowers .Wonderful .Great place - wonderful friendly staff- We are planning a return trip soon . I have 2 walking trails to complete ,,cycle the MTB routes and drive the rest of the 4x4 trails

A hidden jewel, full of peace and tranquility. I had good sleep,I loved that there was no WiFi signal so I was able to switch off. We really enjoyed the meals, stargazing and hot chocolate, the nature hike and the historical insight shared by the respective guides. Restful and adventurous all in one.
