great camp kitchen , and clean communal amenities , pods are a bit small but adaquate

$155 King Cabin for a cockroach to crawl across my face in the middle of the night and NO WIFI - tried to connect to purchase and was still unsuccessful. Told the staff about the roach and was told “it is the rainforest” - I understand it’s the rainforest but I’m not camping. I’m paying for a cabin. I expect it to be clean. Big money grab. I’d recommend you stay anywhere else.

Everything was fine. The best thing was the kitchen and the surrounding nature.

I loved the cottages, so comfortable serene in the rainforest. I could not get enough of the sounds of the rainforest the birds the bugs the rain. Having a kitchen was so handy for a solo as well as a for a couple. I was traveling alone and appreciated eating in by myself and arranging my own meals, especially dinner. The only thing i can success to improve the experience, is the bed having coasters to stop it from rolling so easily. I look forward to staying here again.

Safari lodge is a great place to stay in Cape Tribulation. It’s in a great location with easy access to the Dubuji boardwalk taking you on a tour through the rainforest, as well as to an easy path leading you to the beach. There is a pub and a little shop across the road. Whether you opt for a cabin or a campsite the area is well shaded with the feeling of really being surrounded by nature. The amenities are well taken care of and there is a beautiful open camp kitchen overlooking the pool area. The staff at reception are super helpful and will help you to organize your time in Cape Tribulation. I would highly recommend a half day snorkel tour to the outer reef with Ocean Safari while you are here as well. It was a 10/10

We recently stayed for two days and rented two cabins – one ensuite with a spacious bathroom and a standard one that was just a bed. The place was super clean, and the staff were absolutely amazing. Special thanks to Emma, who went out of her way to make our stay even better. The cafe served some great food too. Perfect spot for a short stay! Highly recommend.

The area allocated was barely big enough to fit my car let alone a tent and was on a 15 degree slop with no flat area at all. Not sure how anyone was ever expected to sleep there as it would have been impossible Will never stay there again

We spent three nights in an ensuite cabin at the Safari Lodge and really enjoyed it. Our cabin was nice and clean and while compact had everything we needed. We made use of the camp kitchen which again was lovely and clean and a great facility. The location is great- just across the road from the beach. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable from when we checked in to when we left. We also ate at the cafe a couple of times and really enjoyed everything we had there. A fabulous spot to stay in Cape Tribulation.

Really nice facility and great staff in he kitchen and on the boat. But a special call out to the desk crew - Lea, Nathan, and a woman whose name I didn't get. Because we kept changing our dates and plans and they were so flexible and supportive of our interest, along with good advice on things to do. Phillip & Sandy

Very well positioned in the centre of Cape Tribulation. Easy walk to beach to view sunrise or just enjoy the wide, open beach without the crowds. Very clean facilities, comfortable cabin, helpful staff and a very delicious breakfast at Turtle Rock cafe.

We really enjoyed having our own cabin with an en-suite. We are by no means a couple that camps regularly, and this “glamping experience may be as close as we get:-). I really enjoyed hearing all the birds during the morning as we woke up. While the cabin was not overly large, it did have plenty of room for us and our luggage.
