2-Star Hotels in Cape Town

I stayed at Urban Hive for a month, and it felt like a home away from home. The staff is super friendly, nice and accommodating, and ensures everything to make the guests comfortable. It’s centrally located on Long Street, in a beautiful heritage building, and has many hangout places like bar, balcony, lounge. Close to many touristic places and especially to explore the nightlife of Cape Town. The rooms, bathrooms, kitchen are all well maintained and super clean. All in all a perfect experience and will definitely stay there whenever I visit again.

Right in an area not far from the City centre. İt has BBQ facilities so you can make a South African Braai and also has a small pool :) :) The waterfront is just 10 min walk and the neighbourhood has lots of restaurants, markets, laundry, etc Bo Kaap is 20 min walk

Central location, nice building, the rooms is good and bath room ok. Have a storage room to your backpack if arrived early. BUT no kitchen in the building so if you want eat move out and search a restaurant or in here. No fridge, only in reception, but is small and always full. And the stuff all of work different skill and say different: I say before I arrived need a bed the lower level becouse I have a leg injury. One say is no option becouse no left empty bed (have left 4). I ask other one I want if possible transfer me please he say no all is full. I ask the third stuff he is a gentleman, he check me and help to everything: transfer me do the best and that it he do all thing less then 3 minutes. Other 2 don't give me the answer i always know how have a space or no. And no elevator, calculate this.

I spent the night here before an international flight. I found the staff and other guests friendly and respectful of my privacy.The distance was a bit expensive using an Uber but since it was during the peak of the taxi strike, I didn't struggle for transport and it was close enough to Observatory to go grocery and thrift shopping.I was also given the option of transport by the lodge should I struggle to get transport to the airport.Comfortable, quiet lodgings with hot shower.

We loved staying at this backpackers. The vibe was very relaxed and welcoming and the host was friendly and helpful. The backpackers has a nice courtyard and bar which is perfect to for socializing with friends or making new friends from all over the world. I would definitely stay at her again. My only complaint was that there was one tiny dirty spot on the wall above my pillow which looked like someone smeared their snot (which is VERY gross) - hopefully housekeeping picks it up and rectifies the matter. But the rest of the backpackers was very clean.

We stayed there for two nights, after we canceled the booking in an other hostel, cause we didn't feel comfortable and safe there. Never@home was the complete contrast program we've been looking for! The staff was unbelievable cute and helpful, activities they offered were really good and most importantly the room with en suite bathroom was amazing ＜3! Only minus was the noise from all the bars on the street. Easy solution: Spend time in those bars in the evening! Always looking forward to come back!

A very peaceful and safe place to stay in Cape Town! I would advise my young grandchildren to go there, when visiting CT (for the first time?)! The staff are relaxed and very helpful and friendly! It is a very nice neighbourhood. It is in Sea Point, with shops and restaurants, and close to the beach. I had a very comfy single room, sheared bathroom. Lots of cleaning-staff was working all day, so the cleaning was taking good care of! There was a big common kitchen, and a big terrasse. A very nice stay!
