After completing a tour around southern Africa, I wanted to spend a couple of nights in Cape Town. I wanted something other than the generic hotel experience, and that's what I got. The Dolphin Inn is situated a comfortable walk from V&A Waterfront (I'm a senior). The lounge area is eclectic but well stocked and my room was absolutely clean and comfortable. I was made feel very welcome by Karen and staff and she was very helpful in arranging airport transfer for me. Many thanks....

Karen was an amazing host!! She introduced me with other guests which was great to talk and listen to other travellers' experiences. The location was great too, it’s just in front of the promenade and within walking distance to the V&A waterfront area.

Paul and Tania as always are so warm accommodating, helpful and friendly as hosts that you almost feel as if you have arrived at home . Wonderful location and hearty breakfast while looking out over the ocean. Always such a pleasure to return to again and again.

We booked a last minute stay here and LOVED it! The room was beautiful, location perfect and central and the breakfasts were delicious. We loved the friendly atmosphere and will definitely be back!

The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The maid came every day and did an excellent job. The full English breakfast is better than any nearby restaurant. The Dolphin Inn is centrally located facing the ocean and close to many good restaurants. I enjoyed my week-long stay and will definitely stay there again when in Cape Town.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Dolphin Inn from Dec 2024 to Jan 2025. Owners Paul and Tania are amazing, hospitable people and I felt like I was visiting family. The breakfast is amazing, the staff super friendly and helpful and the rooms are great size and stunning decor not to mention the LOCATION wow!!! I miss it already BUT will return for sure. Trust me, you would be in the best hands staying here. Love you guys and thanks again. Will return for sure! :)

Our stay was great, the Area was perfect, 20 minutes by foot to the Waterfront and some nice Restaurants in the surroundings! The breakfast was very tasty and Selfmade by the hosts, who gave us some good tipps for exploring Capetown!
