I love this backpackers and have stayed there on multiple occasions now. The staff have always been absolute gems and make you feel comfortable from the moment you step inside.
I had an issued with the trip app and had to book a three days stay as three individual nights. The receptionist noticed this before I came and upgraded my room to ensure I was in the same room for all three nights. Personal touches make the biggest difference

The service was great, i arrived quite late at night and they made arrangements to have someone let me in. The bathrooms were spotless, everything was clean and although youre in a dorm everyone kind of minds their business unless you want to chat, then everyone is social- its kind of a ‘read the room vibe’. Everyone is incredibly friendly and genuinely nice. Would definitely stay again. There is a communal kitchen, 2 sets of bathrooms and 2 sets of showers, a swimming pool, outside seating area, lounge and they serve coffee in the morning from around 8am. Secure property with codes(main entrance) and keys to enter(bedrooms).

I stayed for a few nights at Sunflow Stop upon my arrival in Cape Town. Staff is extremely friendly & flexible. Place is vibey and fun & loved the showers.

I really enjoyed staying at Sunflower! The staff is very friendly and helpful :) The location is perfect - close to the promenade, a park, the supermarket and a lovely Deli. I would definitely come back! I was just struggling a bit with the bunk bed

Stayed here for two nights and its a great place and location. Joined the braai and made some friends, would definitely stay here again!
