Got upgraded to a top floor penthouse room. Over 2 levels with beautiful deep bath in the bedroom. Small kitchen in room with fridge and safe. Bed was so comfy Vouchers given for breakfast at local restaurants. Onsite parking Staff happy to help with luggage Lift to rooms from car park

Hotel exceeded my expectations. Great part of town with ample secure parking. Rooms were very comfortable and I loved the kitchenette in our room.

As a returning guest, once again the experience was great! All front desk staff are helpful and friendly, they go above and beyond. The cleaning staff is amazing as well. The beds are comfortable. Although you would think it would be noisy with the busy surrounding businesses, you cannot hear any outside noise at night! The location is the best! Very walkable and tons of food options near by. I highly reccomend the hippo to any any and all travelers!

I was here for almost a week. It is a very clean place. The room was cozy and spacious. A number of restaurants around for dining options. For breakfast the give vouchers and you can choose from 3 different restaurants. I am pretty sure I will be back.

Outstanding service makes SUCH a difference to a visit, it really does. We preferred this place to a much more expensive one (Parker Cottage) because of the much better service and friendly staff.
