It was a great pleasure to stay in this hotel! The staff is great, breakfasts are delicious. The view from the roof top is amazing 😍 The room was very nice and clean, bathroom is small, but all necessary stuff is there. Free water is available, also you can ask the staff for the additional one Highly recommend!

Great value to the US dollar. Clean, informative helpful staff, neighborhood atmosphere, just a fabulous place to stay. Did three days. Rooftop patio area was a great option for relaxation. Breakfast options were nicely varied. Also transport options airport and cruise port.

Where to start. The staff. Absolutely beautiful people. Every single one of them. I felt like I was talking to my best mate with every interaction. Nothing was too hard to accommodate and always with a smile. Marietjie and Lungi in particularly are just exceptional in managing this place. It’s close to the tourist hubs, city, Bo Kaap, bars, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are ample and the beds are heaven, bathrooms fresh and clean. Just a lovely experience all round.

I loved this place. Great location, friendly staff, big comfortable rooms, great roof terrace, tasty breakfast, good price, parking outside, a shop round the corner and felt really safe. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Don’t even think twice. Book a room at the Grey, you will not regret it! Absolutely the best service, amazing rooms, great views and perfect location. Beautiful architecture - if you want to experience the old Cape Town this is the place. We will defo be back!

Absolutely fabulous little gem! All staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. We stayed for 5 nights following African cruise and it was definitely the icing on the cake! Special mention to Blessing & her gorgeous Sunny Bowl breakfast and also to Jerry for his delicious cappuccinos. Reception staff were all brilliant and helped us out on numerous occasions. Only drawback is the amount of concrete steps; so, if you have mobility issues, would recommend ground floor accommodation, then only 4 or 5 steps to enter hotel. We were really sad to leave

Great place, great location, great quality, great great staff. Nice design elements. Am a repeat customer and will continue to be. They even were so kind to sound the fire alarm because they were afraid I would not wake up, LOL. Lisa will get the joke, am sure...

Excellent! Friendly and very help full staff, so accommodating. The Sky bar had a beautiful view and amazing bar tender. Very respectful of the nose levels which is a huge bonus for me as i struggle with sleep. Nothing was too much. Would highly, highly recommend. I will definitely return.
