This place has one of the best staff teams anywhere! The customer service is outstanding - along with everything else. Beautiful rooms with exceptional housekeeping including evening turndown service. Delicious breakfast as well as complimentary cake in the afternoon. Lovely bar area and great selection of drinks. They even have drivers available to drop you and collect you from restaurants etc. a huge thanks to Elton & Sheila - they made our introduction to South Africa extremely special 😊

The Tree House was a great location for a quick stop in Capetown after safari and a few days in the Cape Vineland's. Convenient to V and A Waterfront, and ALL the staff were so helpful and friendly. A massage at the hotel before flying home was a real treat. Would stay there again.

The best customer service I think I’ve ever had in a hotel! Special mention to Elton and Pewee. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was great with some fab restaurants within walking distance. The waterfront was also only 5 mins away in an Uber.

A wonderful place to stay in Cape Town. We had the best welcome we have ever had at a hotel. All of the staff came out to greet us. It was so nice! We had a lovely room - spacious, beautifully appointed and very clean. The breakfast was good. But it is the service that really makes this hotel stand out. All of the staff were so warm and friendly throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. We would not hesitate in recommending Tree House Hotel1

By a country mile, this was the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. We were in Capetown for a 'special' birthday and staying in The Tree House turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire trip. Given that Capetown is such a stunning city, this compliment should not be underestimated. From the moment we arrived the staff - superbly led by Elton and Evance - made us feel not only welcome but exceedingly special guests. Everything was lovely from the bedroom to the breakfast. But it was the sheer friendliness of the staff that made this such a gem of a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them - and every greeting, morning or evening, came with a warm smile. We genuinely felt that they were doing everything they could to make our holiday extra special. I'm sure there are more lavish hotels in Capetown - but, in 40 years of travel, this was the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. The day we left, we felt as if we were departing our home away from home. If we are ever blessed to return to South Africa, where to stay will be our easiest decision - my wife and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else but The Tree House. This is a hotel run the way every hotel should be. In a word - superb.

A lovely hotel with delightful and efficient staff. The rooms are spacious and the area is quiet. Breakfast was always excellent, with many choices. We also enjoyed the evening gin aperitif. The hotel supplied us with a car and driver (excellent rate and so much better than struggling with traffic etc). The driver was very knowledgable and listened to what we wanted to see. We did a wine tour and a Peninsular tour. The hotel is well located, with a couple of good restaurants very close and a huge selection in the water front. That area is also a great area to walk around. Uber also works well to get to other places - like the Botanic Gardens which is beautiful and has a nice restaurant.

This hotel has been the first choice in Cape Town for years. And we were not disappointed on our last visit to this wonderful hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Elton and his team. The view of the sea from our room was magnificent and the breakfast was always a great start to the day. We are already looking forward to the next time.

We had very high hopes for the treehouse boutique hotel while the finishes are of a very high caliber all of the mattresses at the hotel our cloud nine manufactured March 1995. I had one of the worst nights sleep ever there was no support whatsoever. I flipped the mattress, and it did not help speaking to Management. I requested that the mattress be changed out they said they had no extra mattresses and all the mattresses in the hotel were the same they offered for me to stay at their sister hotel the Zest hotel, however their mattresses were purchased at the same time when I requested compensation, they refused I will not be staying at any of the living journey hotels ever again. I do not recommend staying at the treehouse boutique hotel in Cape Town. Choose Grace Bay or the table mountain hotel.
