Everyone off the staff were lovely and could not have been more h helpful ABs accommodating.
Weather was poor so didn’t get there exploring praise that I planned on my bike.
Food at the hotel was great.

Best Sunday roast in waterford for sure. They have a great menu to suit all tastes and the portions are very generous. Lovely gardens surround the hotel with a great play area and plenty of outdoor seating. It's near the greenaway cycle track for cycling enthusiastics.

We had booked a table Christmas Eve for dinner for 7 people The que was so long for food out the front door and we waited 40 minutes in the que for carvery to be told they were no longer serving food so we had to leave with our elderly grandmother and kids with no food. Organisation was horrific they just packed as many people as they could and unable to even provide food for them Was a joke will never return and would advise others to avoid needs to be ran better as its a pity as its a beautiful building

I pre booked & paid for 7 people (6 adults 1 child). It was advertised as a buffet breakfast but the que was so long with 2 young girls trying to serve everyone which is not what I call a buffet, by the time I got to be served there was no pancakes rashers or sausages left. They did bring out more burt rashers & sausages, then came the tea & milk wait followed by walking around looking for a table. I even had to ask would Santa come to our table. It seemed to me that they over booked & nobody knew their proper job for the day. Where is the day of customer service, is it the case of get your money first and feck the customer.

Work lunch 14 of us. Food and service was absolutely appalling. Staff's attitude left a lot to be desired. Will not be returning ever. menu was emailed prior to arrival giving very basic instructions and still arrived incorrectly. One colleague actually never received her food despite reminding a staff member on two occasions. Used be be a lovely hotel. Such a big pity.

2 of us went for lunch on a Friday - waited for 20 mins before we decided to go to the bar for a menu and a further 20 mins before returning to the bar to place our orders. Soup was served in a very small bowl 😢 (pity because it was lovely 😋). Not enough staff Place very clean and lovely location. If the above were improved, it would be a beautiful hotel

Absolutely beautiful experience, the hotel is absolutely stunning and the level of cleanliness is well above the stars available to give I work in a hotel myself and cannot fault the manor at all. It is amazing cozy warming and the staff are unbelievably friendly and catering can’t wait to return already thank you all & a special thanks to Sharon for her kindness and welcoming

Just returned from celebrating my mammys 88th birthday with Afternoon Tea. We have tried many places in Waterford over the years and have to say this has been the best by far. The food was fab and plenty of it to go around actually there was so much for the 3 of us that we each brought some home. And best of all a reasonable price. We were put into our own private room that was decorated to the highest quality. Overall our experience was second to none and we will be definitely be back . Staff were amazing and even got to speak with the chef who prepared our platters . Highly recommended and we are definitely going back for our Christmas Afternnon Tea treat .

Before you arrive, check to make sure there are no weddings planned to get a good nights sleep. We are booked for 2 nights - good thing - because there was a wedding reception that was allowed to play loud thumping music until 1:30am on our first night, so we spent most of Sunday relaxing and napping in our room. There was music the next day as well - let’s hope it ends early! It’s an older location, which we like, that makes the rooms large, and they have installed an elevator for those older or physically impaired, but there are very limited plugs in the room - bring an extension cord.
