Atlanticview Cape Town Boutique Hotel

We had the most amazing week at Atlantic View in Feb half term (UK). We travelled with our teen/tween boys (15 and 12) We were made so welcome and the team at Atlantic View gave us so many restaurant recommendations, organised our trips and attended to every request we had. The hotel was largely couples but our boys were made to feel so welcome by both the staff and the other guests. We loved the wine tasting before dinner each evening and didn't expect the boys to join us but each night they were made so welcome by staff and other guests and loved talking about their adventures of the day. We did the city tour, vineyards and the cape tour, all organised with the hotel and all were first class with our lovely guide Jeremy. Breakfast was amazing, views unparalleled. We have done a lot of travelling but our 15 year old said it was his best trip yet. Huge thanks to Sven, Rebecca, Wadin, Clint. Sorry if we missed anyone, you were all amazing. Also the lovely security guard. We never got his name but we were always greeted and departed with a smile even at our 5am departure for safari. I can't wait for the day we get to come back to this amazing gem of a hotel.

A beautiful hotel with a staff that pays attention to details! Sven was amazing as he checked in on us daily - very knowledgeable and pleasant. The room was inviting and the view of the sea from our patio unsurpassed. The food...a daily breakfast full of choices presented in the most artistic way. I will forever miss that! Fluffy pillows and a bed that felt like home. I will be back again!

Just home from South Africa one week, and already trying to sort out dates for next year. We stayed in the fabulous Atlanticview Hotel. It's impossible to describe the beauty of this place!! This was the 3rd January in a row at our favourite hotel. We actually met a lovely Scottish couple who were on their 10th consecutive visit........Does that not say it all? Rooms all have their own decking area with stunning views. You can watch the cable car going up to Table Mountain behind you. You can watch the hang gliders leaping off The Lions Head to the right of you. However the uninterrupted views of Camps Bay village, the beach, and the so so blue Atlantic Ocean lie below and in front of you! We really had to force ourselves to stop taking photos. We took the same ones last year and the year before!!! The food at Atlanticview is excellent and again we needed to discipline ourselves to stop when we had enough. The rooms are all very generous and are immaculately maintained. Staff are incredibly helpful and so well mannered and always seemed as if they enjoyed their jobs and wanted to be there! We always wondered where Greg got them all. Whoever trained the staff here deserve a recommendation from the tourist board ! Complimentary wine and canapés from 7-9 each night gives you a chance to meet and socialise, however no matter where your room is located you can be as private as you wish. What's not to like at Atlanticview ?

We booked this hotel for 4 nights over our honeymoon and had a very relaxing stay here - the staff were all so helpful and kind. Location is 5* as well as the views (looks out onto Table Mountain and Lions head). Its around a 20-25 minute walk into the centre of Camps Bay, safe to do in the day time. Feels very safe and has 24/7 security to let you in after an evening out. Breakfast was delicious, a choice of continental buffet and warm hot food to select from!

My stay at this 5 star boutique hotel in Cape Town was a highlight of an entire three-month, six-continent world tour. The food was abundant and delicious; the staff were friendly and provided excellent service; the rooms were beautiful, bright, and clean; and, true to the name, the hotel is located on a high spot that affords a breathtaking view of the city below, the Atlantic Ocean, and Lion's Head in the distance. I could not stop taking photos from our balcony. Even the skylights in my room showcased Table Mountain further up from the ocean. Atlanticview was a magical place to stay, and I hope to return to it next time I'm in South Africa.
