Perfect location amongst some great bars and restaurants. Always felt safe and secure in the hotel. Quirky decor and comfortable bed at a great price.

Great hotel Great location Working safe - laptop size Solo female traveller and I felt super safe here Easy to walk to and fro nice restaurants because of street safety officers They cleaned my room beautifully each day, very clean Friendly manager and reception staff I had a standard studio, it had a kitchen, lounge area and bed. This size was perfectly fine for one person. Very useable space. Thanks for a great stay

Amazing almost personal service by Heino and a lovely roof pool and terrace. The hotel has vivid decoration and a lot of attention to detail and is dedicated to Wes Anderson. However, I didn’t like my room. The bed was very short, like 1.80 long, and I could hear a lot of internal noises (every to banging, piping, elevator etc) that kept me awake.

Belated review for the Trade Boutique. We stayed at the trade boutique hotel over Christmas 2024. It was recently opened - and being drawn to the Wes Anderson style - we were not disappointed. Well located in the business district, it was nonetheless round the corner from some great eating places and a couple of fantastic wine bars. Room was spacious, well appointed and it was great to have the kitchenette space for snacks after days spent exploring. The rooftop bar was great though very quiet when we were here. The pool is small is great for a dip on a hot day, though would have appreciated more optional shade on the loungers by the pool. The attached bistro was great for included breakfast and also served great lunches as well. Highly recommended for a great base to explore CapeTown.

Had a excellent stay over, room was clean, staff friendly and check in was quick. Everything was in the kitchenette from kettle to toaster. Bonus is the Nescafe coffee espresso machine.

We received a warm welcome at the Trade Boutique Hotel from friendly reception staff. Inspired by 'The Grand Budapest Hotel', the property has some colourful and charming décor. We had breakfast included in our package at the Wes Restaurant which was decent but the waiting staff did not seem to listen to our requests. For example, we ordered a small breakfast but it arrived just the same as a full English. The service was also slow. The Moon Rooftop Pool & Bar, which overlooks part of the city, is a relaxing area to enjoy a swim in the day or a drink at night. The city sightseeing bus stop is only a 2 min walk away, so very handy if you are planning on seeing the city this way, which we did.
