Hotel le Ville

The hotel was easy to find but not in the centre of Lucca as advertised. The staff were friendly . Having booked this hotel through smartbox, the package included two nights with breakfast and one dinner for two (first and second course and water).. The room itself was ok but I did expect more for being a three star hotel. The double bed was two single mattresses put together, one being higher than the other, it was uncomfortable. The air conditioning worked ok but the filters looked really dirty and like they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. there were also water marks on the ceiling. The bathroom was superficially cleaned but the shower and the ventilation fan were not very clean. When it came to our included dinner. We were given a choice of only three starters and three main courses. All the other choices we could choose from but we had to pay the difference. It was not explained when we booked or when we checked in that there was a limited choice. We chose 3 dishes from the menu and one dish from the six offered. When it came down to paying for the meal. The bill came to 57 euro. The hotel took off only 20 euro from the total. Saying that's what they do. Even after asking twice why this wasn't explained they had no real satisfactory explanation. It's not what I would consider an included dinner. Over all , I don't think I would recommend this hotel to anyone. L'hotel era facile da trovare ma non era nel centro di Lucca come pubblicizzato. Il personale è stato gentile . Avendo prenotato questo hotel tramite smartbox, il pacchetto comprendeva due notti con colazione e una cena per due (primo e secondo piatto e acqua). La camera in sé era ok, ma mi aspettavo di più per essere un hotel a tre stelle. Il letto matrimoniale era costituito da due materassi singoli messi insieme, uno era più alto dell'altro, era scomodo. L'aria condizionata funzionava bene ma i filtri sembravano molto sporchi e come se non fossero stati puliti da molto tempo. c'erano anche macchie d'acqua sul soffitto. Il bagno è stato pulito superficialmente, ma la doccia e la ventola di ventilazione non erano molto pulite. Per quanto riguarda la cena inclusa nel prezzo. Ci è stata data una scelta di soli tre antipasti e tre piatti principali. Tutte le altre piatte potevano essere fatte, ma pagando la differenza. Al momento della prenotazione o del check-in non ci è stato spiegato che la scelta era limitata. Abbiamo scelto 3 piatti dal menu e un piatto dai sei proposti. Quando si è trattato di pagare il pasto, il conto è stato di 57 euro. L'hotel ha tolto solo 20 euro dal totale. Anche dopo aver chiesto due volte perché solo venti euro non era stato spiegato, non hanno avuto una spiegazione soddisfacente. Non è quello che considererei una cena inclusa. Nel complesso, non credo che raccomanderei questo hotel a nessuno.
