Terrible hotel! It’s honestly not worth booking. The room we had was covered with ants. There was an awful smell. The room had dirty marks everywhere and cracks around(even in ceiling)I had experienced uncooked food which I took to the reception to report and all I got was “sorry”.Limited food choices pretty much the same everyday.Throughout the night either side of our room had constant banging.I also had someone knocking at my door one night at 1:30am.I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The worst hotel I’ve ever been to

This was my first ever holiday abroad and I must say it was such an incredible experience. The transfer over to the hotel was so quick and easy. The staff at the hotel were super lovely and helped get us sorted straight away. They even let us have the lunch when we arrived before it stopped at 2pm. The food at the buffet was out of this world. They were freshly made and had different menus each day, there’s also a grill area where the chef cooked different fresh meat. There was lots of food to go round. The hotel room was clean, and the air conditioning made the room super cool throughout the day. We had a balcony room and the view of the sea and the other buildings was so beautiful. The pool area was also clean, there were a lot of sun-beds and also a bar. The all inclusive bar was so good, you can have as many drinks as you want until 11pm, and the staff use a lot of alcohol when they make your drink, so thats a bonus! All inclusive includes different cocktails, soft drinks, spirits, wine and beer, there’s a good list to choose from. The entertainment was also wonderful. I was reading reviews about this place and can tell some reviews are from a lot of picky people, and that some of the bad reviews aren’t that true, as I thought it was a lovely hotel for adults only. Even when people are out late getting drunk, they are really mindful of those who are in their rooms asleep. There’s a lot of German people that come to this area, and they are also really lovely. The breakfast was okay, but there’s wasn’t much variety and the sausages were mainly Frankfurt which isn’t our favourite but there was fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, pancakes that are made in front of you, and a selection of deli meets, which was really nice! I’m glad I chose this hotel as it is genuinely really lovely. My partner even said he really enjoyed the buffet food and said it was the best food he’s had, as he’s been to different hotels abroad before. Definitely go here, there is a lot you can do outside the hotel too, and you can go to different parts of the island and explore a lot. The beach is right in front of the hotel. Watching the sunrise the last few days was magnificent. You also have the housekeeper come clean the room everyday. Overall I would absolutely recommend this place! Thank you to the staff at Canyamel Classic for making our holiday so special !

The vacation has been excelent! Everything we had in this hotel has been amazing: the food, the room with a sea view, the personal. The most important thing is that the beach is 1 minute from the hotel. Also, we had a really warm welcoming from start to finish, Mikeila impressed us with her combination of warmth, professionalism, and positive energy. The red-haired, curly receptionist welcomed us with a sincere smile and a dedication that made us feel truly valued as guests. She’s attentive, helpful, and clearly loves what she does. The hotel benefits greatly from her presence. Mikeila is a key reason I plan to come back.

Upon arrival i was greeted by a beautiful lady called mikiela, she was happy and smiley even considering the time because I arrived quite late, they was busy but not once did mikiela get stressed or loose her customer service, she really made me feel me comfortable and when I explained I was on my own she reassured me ,and that's what she done at every opportunity she made me feel included and safe, she's an asset to the hotel and made my holiday experience, I also want to mention Joel who was an absolute star and really welcoming and helpful very easy to talk too,and Muhammad who made my days there fun and helped me meet people I enjoyed the water gym and water ball very much hes very welcoming and very easy to talk too he makes the experience and entertainment there for sure, but I have to say mikiela, Joel and Muhammad smash their job and the hotel are lucky to have them I wil be coming back next year just to see these staff

Stay was great, there was some minor problems like toilet not flushing properly, shower with low pressure, but nothing serious. Food was varied, everybody can choose what they like and there was always something. There were some entertainment programs with singing and acrobatic moves. Beach is just around corner, so no need to travel far. Overall great stay, with friendly staff.

This is the first time I’m writing a review that is not five stars. I recently returned from vacation, and my feelings are mixed. I usually prefer leaving positive reviews, but this one will be honest. As soon as we arrived, we were asked to pay a tourist tax (about €60 for 10 nights), but there was nothing about it in the hotel description (On the Beach). At check-in, I noticed a sign at the reception with car rental prices. A few hours later, our friends arrived and were told the hotel did not rent cars at all. The room was in decent condition, fairly clean — special thanks to the cleaning staff for their hard daily work. The hotel’s location is a huge plus — just a one-minute walk to a clean and beautiful beach. I highly recommend waking up early at least once to watch the sunrise there — it’s magical. The hotel grounds are spacious and tidy, with enough space for everyone. There’s a gym and table football, billiards costs €2 per game. I didn’t see the golf — perhaps I should have asked at reception. As in most hotels, poolside loungers are quickly taken. The pool wasn’t clean — the walls were slippery green algae between the tiles. Even though I saw fresh water being added in the mornings, the pool could really use a proper cleaning. If you want blue pool towels, you’ll need to leave a €11 deposit, but you’ll get back only €10 because €1 is charged for washing. Perhaps fair, but it feels unpleasant — this was the first hotel where I’ve seen such a system. As for the bar — it’s one of the best spots in the whole hotel, and not just because of the alcohol 😀. The bartenders are lovely and always smiling, even though their job is far from easy. But if you want drinks from 10 am to 7 pm, you need to buy a reusable cup for €1 and carry it with you all day. You’ll also get a receipt with the cup — don’t lose it, or you won’t get your deposit back. Now, about the most important thing — the food. I usually travel with all-inclusive, but this is the first time I regretted it. Coffee often ran out in the machine, so instead of cappuccino, I twice ended up with plain milk. The juice is from concentrate, but no one monitored it, so sometimes you’d get plain water or a dark-brown liquid that was supposed to be apple juice. The main restaurant had some food I liked, but I often ended up eating the same things. There was also a separate grill area for meat and fish, but after a few tries, I stopped going — the meat was so dry, and the sausages were undercooked. In the main buffet, I once saw sour melon and corn with mold. The dishes weren’t always clean, so I’d recommend checking your cutlery and glasses for food residue or lipstick marks. One day, I left my glasses on the table to get some water, and when I returned (after less than a minute), they were gone, replaced with a “Reserved” sign. I later found them on the staff’s cleaning cart. I don’t mind changing tables if needed, but it would have been nicer if someone had simply asked me to move. I
