Close to the beach, like 300m. Large enough for a family of 3. The balcony is nicely large. Staff is friendly. Although it is said that the location is quiet it is not, several times per week outdoor karaoke, neighbours cleaning their terraces with noisy electric air blowers in the morning. The elevator did not have any proof of maintenance on its label. Stuffing, like toaster, microwave and stove are old or weak, frying a piece of meat isn’t fun on the stove. There are several restaurants nearby but surprisingly they are quite often closed, in fact the choice is very limited.

The apartment was great, perfect for our needs. Great value for money. Very clean, quiet and had all necessary things to cook basic meals and prepare good breakfast. Great was to have normal, big fridge and espresso coffee machine :-) It is about 100 m to the beach which was perfect. Beach very nice and clean and also nice restaurants and some shops around. Owners were friendly and communication without any problem. Self check in went smoothly, all necessary info were sent before arrival. We also appreciate that Canyamel is quiet, surrounded by nature and 3 min by car it's beautiful golf course! At the end we made the reservation directly with the owners and all worked perfect, so we recommend it!

Excellent location; 2 minutes to the beach; and 2-3 minutes from several excellent restaurants. The apartments are spacious; consist of lounge with 2 seater, TV with loads of channels, dining table and chairs; large balcony; excellent bathroom with shower; x1 large double bedroom and separate twin room. The rooms in the main block get the sun all day until 6-7pm. Our host was very helpful; gave lots of advice to the area/restaurants etc. Offered free beach brolly, bags; hires paddle boards/kayaks. The pool area was quiet; approx 15m pool with in pool sun beds; jacuzzi area. We never struggled for sunbeds and it felt like a private pool for most of the holiday. Lovely sheltered seating area with sofa outside. The only reason we didn’t score a 5 was the lack of bar/coffee shop. There was a lovely bar area/coffee shop but it was obviously decided not to have this running this year. The rooms did have nespresso machines with 3 free coffee pods; after this it was to the supermarket (only 5 min walk). It would have been good if the apartments could have offered refills either as a courtesy or for sale when the facilities were not functioning. However, lovely apartments. Great holiday was had.
