Have stayed in many Premier Inns over the years when needing a bed for the night when visiting friends or whatever. Always have a good night’s sleep as mattresses are superb and rooms always clean, basic and no frills. This one smelt musty. Room for two people but only one chair? Wanted to grab a bite to eat in the adjoining Beefeater after a 3.5 hour drive up from London to be met with ‘food’s finished at 9. it was 9pm on the dot - the girl looked at her watch and said no. She could’ve checked with the chef at least - it wasn’t busy in there and there were only two of us. A bit more effort and a better welcome would have been appreciated. Not a great start to be honest. We were in Lincoln for a funeral the next day so didn’t even want to be there (and won’t visit that one again). Breakfast the next morning, friendly staff, but a weird old set up, food in different places hiding behind different walls and alcoves. Very gloomy and tired, , dirty torn seats and carpet and could do with a good revamp. Served its purpose but not impressed.

We stayed for three nights and found the usual good standards in place. The hotel is a short drive out of the city and offers a good location for exploring Lincoln and the local area. The hotel is a little dated compared to others (no USB sockets and none by the bed) but still offers good value for money. Breakfast service was efficient and I'd return next time I'm in the area.

Lovely size room for 4 of us, Slept well, pillows are lovely. Very friendly staff very helpful to. Easy to top up coffee and sugar etc without disturbing anyone late at night. Cute little gift items in the lobby which the children loved. Will stay again when I visit relatives in Lincon

Went there in order to visit lincoln and was very happy to stay in such a quiet and clean place. book in advance to get best prices! only downside was that we were allocated a room that has non opening windows but the lovely lady called moly in reception swapped us in an instant to a different one with a smile on her face. cheeers

Excellent couple of nights at Premier Inn Canwick, room was very clean and well presented. Handy location just on edge of Lincoln which suited us, with no problems with parking. Beefeater right outside the hotel which was very handy for breakfast and evening meal. Jemma on reception was particularly helpful and very friendly providing us with directions and information of local places to visit. Will stay again and would recommend.

Great stay. Everything was perfect & great staff on hand throughout my stay. I had a room upstairs on the back of the hotel. The Breakfast was all you can eat in the Beefeater. It was cooked to order and hot, when it arrived & friendly staff also.

The hotel was in a great location. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, especially Gemma on reception who had to change our room but did so easily and with a smile! We enjoyed the tuck shop in reception, what a great idea to help GOSH.

Came for the kids half term - so lovely to find thingsin the room for the kids. They loved playing the lucky dip in reception too. Room very clean, staff all super friendly and knowledgable. Could definiely do with a bit of an update but overall a great stay

Great girls trip in the stunning Lincoln! Had a few twin rooms booked and all sorted when we arrived, great nice staff and very clean and tidy. Definitely in need of a refurb though, which is a shame because it’s a great location! A lot of potential
