Canowindra Riverview Motel

This was not only a lovely, comfortable motel, but also provided delicious Indian food - the best meal we had in Canowindra. It is well-placed near the main road into town and also the high street of Canowindra, Gaskill St. I would recommend this motel

Disappointing, the shower grout was extremely mouldy and hair from the previous guests still on the shower wall. The standard of this motel has rapidly declined. It used to be spotless and well maintained. The last two visits were not good, we won't be returning.

While this hotel is a little dated, it's in a good spot, the room was very clean, and even with two beds (double and single) and a small table and chair setting, it was spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were very cheery. It's an easy walk to the Old Main Street. Find your way to the Belubula River and cross over the Suspension Bridge- that was fun, too! This hotel is worth coming back.

We visited Canowindra on 26/01/22 in order to see the wonderful, world-class, Age of Fishes Museum. We stayed one night in the Riverview Motel. Reception was courteous and efficient. The location is a short walk to town and with a landscape view. The room was impeccably clean and well equipped. A bonus was the availability of first class Indian food, prepared on site by management. The cost of the room and meal was very acceptable. Parking at the door. We'd certainly stay there again.
