Although the hotel is 4 stars, it is not worse than five stars. The hotel is very new and the facilities are very good, especially the location, very close to the commercial street. To the south is the luxury sector, and to the north is the catering shopping street. It is also easy to go to the Movie Palace, 3 minutes walk. There are also delicious Chinese restaurants around. Suitable for vacation and business. Will choose here next time.

Located in a parallel behind the long sea and next to the Carlton hotel. Clean, with all the comforts and a swimming pool and spa, that if there are not many people is very pleasant. Not a great beautiful view but safe a advantage to have it.

The transportation is convenient, the price-performance ratio is good, there is no parking lot, and there is a railway nearby. There is a restaurant, but no dinner service. The facilities are a bit old. The rooftop pool is a bit small. The staff is welcoming.

I was excited to return to Hotel Splendid after staying every January for the music festival for 10 years between 2002 and 2012. The hotel staff are still as polite and friendly, especially the bar manager. There has been some nice upgrades, the breakfast room changes into a bar from 5pm, and the bedding is of a good quality, but the rest is a little tired. Our room 208 was large, had a great view and small balcony, but the smallest bathroom I’ve ever been in and a separate WC. We had big issues with sewage smells from the separate WC, and on our second night it was so bad we asked the hotel night Manger if he could move us, which unfortunately he couldn’t, the hotel was full. I made the night manager come into our room so he could experience the foul smell we were having the injure, and he was disgusted. On check out the hotel manager looked at us when we complained as if it was acceptable to be sleeping in a room with a terrible raw sewage smell, all they would do is comp the breakfast. So to summarise, we would NEVER stay at this hotel again. And we would advise you not to pay in advance for your stay if you can, so that if you have this awful sewage smell you have a little more to bargain with, and if they can’t change your room, then move out of the hotel, there are many other options around you. The hotel management could have given us a lot better service this morning, and this review would have been slightly better, shame on you Hotel Splendid.

The hotel is right next to the train station, very close, and walks for up to two minutes. If you need to check out very early, it is best to speak to the front desk in advance, we are too early to check out the front desk and no one has dragged on the train for a long time.

Stayed in classic room which was very spacious and rooms were very quiet. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast included. Large indoor pool area or you can pay 20 euro to use rooftop pool for the day. There is a carpark but you need to book a space as they are limited and it is very hard to find. Turn right into the street just before the hotel and about 50metres up that road on the left is a roller door. Press buzzer and they will let you in. No signage on roller door.

The building is great and well located but…….. breakfast was terrible, not a single piece of fresh fuit insight , ran out of coffee cups after about 10 customers and were told to use the cardboard ones and the sever was at best useless. We booked three rooms and it took more than 30minutes to checkin because it was so unorganized at the reception , finally we were given 3 sets of keys and every key was for the wrong couple so it took us another 30minutes of going all over the building to work out what rooms were actually ours.

The hotel has a novel design and decoration, and the rooms are comfortable. I like this hotel. It is conveniently located to the beach. It takes only five to 10 minutes to walk. The parking lot needs to be parked in another shopping mall. It takes about five minutes to walk. I recommend this hotel

We arrived early and unfortunately could not check in, which was understandable. However, there was no lounge or bar area to wait, so we were forced to leave the hotel to find an alternative place. Once we could check in we went to our room which was the one bed suite with city view. The suite was ok, but didn't seem to live up to the pictures. The bedroom had been decked out in balloons and a birthday banner for my partner. But having paid over €450 for one night, I felt a bottle or chocs could easily been laid on. When we decided to have a hot drink in the room, we found that there were only small paper cups for espresso, no teas and no milk. As such, I went down to reception to ask for some tea and milk an was shocked and surprised to be informed that the hotel does not supply either, but I could purchase them if I wanted. I felt this was so petty and not what one would expect from a 4 star hotel. As such, I had to go out and search for a store to buy some milk. The aircon, despite putting all the settings on low, would not operate, and when informing the front desk next day, was advised that perhaps I should have left the settings higher!. On checking out next morning, a call was made to the front desk advising that the bunting was missing. We had presumed that it was ok. But know, the £2 bunting was not to be taken as the hotel reuses it On the positive, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bath and shower were adequate. Overall I did not feel it was worth the €450 for one night and the boutique feel of the property was lack lustre, tainted by the penny pinching attitude

We come here every year since 2017. Initially we were meant to stay for 3 nights but have extended it to 5 nights as we had to work week days and wifi was good for video conferencing. It is not luxury hotel - it is practical hotel for family stay. It has enough space, table, 2 chairs, bathroom with walking in shower as well as bathtub. If you don’t fancy going out, you can microwave your meal in the room. The front desk is great, the manager lady is very professional and attentive and brunette gentleman (Thomas) was just outstanding: nothing was too much to ask. We felt very safe there. It is true about noise coming from the street and rubbish trucks but this is also true if you stay in other city in South France as these services only work overnight due to the traffic and heat during the day. They were kind enough to recognise our loyalty and bring us small gift with a note. Housekeeping lady is very polite and diligent. Her service was very consistent. Especially when you stay more nights, it makes a difference. Towels are of good quality. I would say the only negative is ever increasing price. It is more than double of pre-covid times and further up from last year. It is no longer good value Cannes option it used to be. I hope we can still afford it next year.

The hotel is generally very close to the train station and walks for five minutes. Did not pay attention to the absence of parking. There are two kinds of breakfast, a kind of 9 euros, very simple, a few breads, tea, juice. There is another 19 Euro, which is a buffet, the variety is general, the price is not high. It is also close to the beach and it takes about 10 minutes to walk.

Very well located for access to the promenade and shops, and about a 10 minute walk to the train station so easily able to do day trips to Monaco and Nice. The comfortable room felt clean and spacious: being on the first floor, the balcony overlooked the garden and was a peaceful retreat whilst trying to spot green parakeets in the nearby trees. The room had a small fridge which was useful to store fresh milk that we bought in nearby shops. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed sampling wine from the hotel’s vineyard that was offered in the evenings. Didn’t use the pool, which could be good for cooling off in during hotter months but not big enough for swimming lengths. We would certainly wish to stay here again if we were back in Cannes.

We stayed at Yelo Hotel in Cannes by Sonder on June 25th and were absolutely blown away by the exceptional service. Our family had been traveling through Paris and the French Riviera for about 2.5 weeks, and unfortunately, we encountered mostly rude and indifferent service from locals and other establishments. However, the staff at Yelo Hotel in Cannes were a refreshing exception! From the moment we arrived, the night manager or receptionist welcomed us with a warm smile and a willingness to help, despite us arriving a day early and without a place to stay. While other hotels in Cannes wouldn't even unlock their doors, the staff at Yelo Hotel went out of their way to guide us to our rooms, parking, and assist with our numerous bags. Their genuine hospitality was a breath of fresh air. The next morning, the breakfast service staff continued to impress us. One lady explained everything on offer and convinced us to try the special dish created by the chef. Every day, they strive to offer something unique and special, and it truly made our breakfast experience unforgettable. The chef was humble and delighted to see us enjoying our meal. Even when we were running late for breakfast, the service staff went above and beyond by keeping the breakfast items out for us and even came to our room to ask if we still wanted to come down or if she could keep anything for us. Wow! During our checkout, the receptionist made us feel completely at home as we waited in the reception area. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured to leave, and we were treated with true hospitality throughout our stay. Our experience at Yelo Hotel was so positive that it overshadowed our subsequent stay at a competitor so-called 4-star apartment hotel, Nemea, just 150 meters away, which turned out to be a disaster. I will leave a separate review for them and their establishment later this week. To the management and staff of Yelo by Sonder, thank you for your exceptional service. I apologize for not remembering all your names, but I am confident that the management team will pass on our gratitude. I can see that the team form the top down is exceptional! You know who you are, and we are in awe of your dedication. Wherever I travel internationally, Sonder Hospitality will be my first choice! Thank you again for an unforgettable stay!

The room is quite big. The toilet and bathroom are separated, which is convenient for the family. The toiletries in the bathroom are antipodes from my New Village, which is quite surprising. There are many types of breakfast, and the bread is freshly baked and very delicious. For parking, the hotel has a parking lot, but you can park on the roadside nearby at night, so there is no need to spend an extra 20 euros
