Ambleside B&B is a large, warm, hospitable home. Our clean room was quite spacious, with a very nice ensuite. We needed to leave early the next morning, hence missing the included delicious breakfast, so they prepared for us an amazing breakfast to go: fried egg and cheese sandwiches, yogurts, granola bars, trail mix packets and mandarins. Definitely highly recommended!!!

From the moment we arrived far too early to check-in we knew our stay here was going to be great. We were warmly welcomed and our hosts had no problem in allowing us to leave our cases while we explored Canmore, an easy walk into the town. The whole place shouts cosy and comfort and we would love to experience the lounge in winter. Our room with its en-suite, although not large, was perfect for our two nights stay. The hosting family are a delight and so helpful with their advice regarding trips and walks. The freshly cooked breakfasts were amazing. If we ever return to Canada we would go out of our way to stay here.

We had such a great stay at Ambleside in Canmore. The home is gorgeous and in a great location. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hosts were so accommodating and welcoming, and the breakfasts were delicious!! We hope to stay here again in the future.

Looking for that Lodge/Cabin feel for your Canadian Rockies Getaway with THE MOST AMAZING FOOD to get you started in the morning? Look no further than this Bed n Breakfast! Walking distance from downtown Canmore and roughly 30min to Banff- this is a prime location if you don’t want to get caught up in the hustle n bustle in Banff 24/7. With beautiful sights, you are tucked right in the mountains with grand views all around. Rooms are cozy with comfy beds- a welcoming retreat after a full day of activities. When you wake up, a world class breakfast awaits you- I’m not exaggerating by any means! Top notch, first class cuisine with hearty servings. For foodies, this place is a must! Also, you’ll be hard-pressed to find more hospitable hosts than Kyle and Hilary. As locals, they know all the best spots and have great recommendations for beautiful sights to see and great things to do. Chatting with them at breakfast feels like talking to old friends. Can’t say enough great things about these two and their bed n breakfast. Support a local family business, go off the beaten path, and book a stay that you’ll be missing as soon as you leave.

We loved our stay here. The house is exceptional, the rooms are uber comfortable and the little touches to make your stay more comfortable make this outstanding. Brian and Anne are wonderful hosts and together they make you feel like you are visiting old friends (who happen to be DeadHeads). Breakfast was wonderful and they are very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Stellar stay. Can't wait to return.

Stayed here one night at the Hudson Green room. Normally don't go for BnBs but the hosts were very welcoming. The breakfast they made was better than the hotels we stayed on subsequent nights - hearty without being heavy. We got scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, and sausages. Love the windows, nice to get some fresh air in, and there's a sunroof window as well The one con is I don't love that the bathroom isn't sealed (it's like a walled off section of bedroom). As an additional note, they prefer if you wear indoor slippers (provided if needed). It's very nice inside so it was no hassle for us. The hosts also lent us bear spray when we mentioned we didn't get around to buying it yet, which saved us money/hassle.

Ambleside is located in a very quiet part of town; walk to downtown or the Bow River in just a few minutes! Breakfasts are fabulous, room comfy and quiet. EXCELLENT communication with our hosts; enjoyed our chats at breakfast. Highly recommend!!

Wir waren für 7 Nächte bei Annie und Brian und schwärmen immer noch darüber. Das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker und das Haus ist einfach wunderschön. Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Es wird sich wirklich sehr zuvorkommend um die Gäste gekümmert und an alles gedacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
