After reading decent reviews I booked three nights in high season for my family. The water slide and pool plus included breakfast were contributing factors for sure. Upon arrival we were kindly greeted and despite being an hour early for check in, got a room right away. The kids were offered a large freezie then too. The standard two Queen room on the main floor was clean and had a laminate floor which was wonderful. No worries about what might have been in the carpet!! Other than some dusty bathroom and bedroom corners, and a deck that needed a sweep(we were ground level so had a cement enclosure- kind of prison like) that had leaves and such needing swept up, the cleanliness was good. Our bathroom fan didn’t work and so the bathroom got very hot and foggy when anyone showered. Kids had fun at the pool but I didn’t feel confident in the cleanliness- three huge hair balls on the deck that were there two days in a row. Eww. Breakfast was always the same - eggs scrambled, meat (bacon or sausage), waffles, and hash browns as well as yogurt, cereal, fruit salad and various toaster items. I was very surprised to see bacon! That doesn’t typically happen where breakfast is included. Breakfast area was well tended to, clean and you never had to wait long for a refill on anything. There was iced tea in the lobby each day and in the afternoon fresh baked, individually wrapped chocolate chip cookies (so good). This was also a pleasant surprise. The room had a lovely little gas fireplace and plenty of space for a family needing space for a playpen or cot. The AC unit worked great which was necessary as every day was 30+! Watch prices- our initial trip dates fell through and the hotel offered a touch cheaper than Expedia, but the week later I rescheduled Expedia saved us $50. High season was nearly $400/night which was ghastly but last minute vacation plans in high season and not being anywhere for three years due to covid… we went for it!

Nice hotel with full facilities. The washing and drying machine is very easy to use. The shower room is very useful. If you go on a cold day, you can also use the sauna. The kitchen is also very nice and comfortable to live in. There is also a fireplace. The door is made of glass. I think it is an electric stove. The carbon inside is a fake decoration. But the carbon is real and it is really burning. There is a gas stove under the carbon. On the wall, the same switch as the interior light. Feeling better.

Drive all the way from Vancouver, all the hotel reservations are good, but this hotel is the best! The suite we booked was so big, spacious, clean and welcoming! The facilities are quite complete, including washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and more. The kitchen is quite large and there is no shortage of kitchen supplies. The pots and knives are all Zhuangliren, big-name goods, easy to use and clean. There are coffee makers, microwave ovens, and traditional Chinese kettles, even dish cloths and detergents. They are so thoughtful and complete! In a foreign country, we made a lot of delicious food for ourselves during the three days we stayed. The front desk service is great, although the language is not spoken, but I feel a great affinity from the smile, and the check-in is quite fast. You can see the snow-capped mountains and beautiful scenery outside the window of the room. There is a park near the hotel, which is very beautiful! Canmore is about 20 kilometers from Banff, but the town is not only beautiful, but also very quiet. The main thing is that the same room will be much cheaper than Banff, and parking is convenient. blackstone is a very comfortable hotel. It has an indoor heated swimming pool and two warm Jacuzzis perfect for winter use. I especially like to take a bath in the outdoor massage pool because the surrounding mountain scenery is very beautiful, especially when it snows outside, it is a great pleasure to watch the snow scene in the massage pool. The hotel rooms are clean and well appointed, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly. If you want to have a relaxing and pleasant vacation in the cold winter, I highly recommend blackstone mountain lodge, it will give you extraordinary enjoyment. The facilities and services here are very comfortable.

Hotel staffs are accommodating, helpful and polite. We payed for an extra roll bed, since it was cleaned well, we were given an extra room free of charge which is very nice of the front desk staff. Food served were good, the staffs are very polite and the dining area is clean and spacious.

Arrived on the spot/last minute hoping for a room without pre-booking; didn’t disappoint! We were impressed by the service we got from the staff at reception, the Ukrainian lady in particular was very helpful and provided excellent service. Thank you 😊 Room was great (loft apartment and fabulous view) and was well-equipped and comfortable. Good WiFi quality if you need it. As a Brit, not used to the shower power strength which was well-received!

The hotel is in a good environment with restaurants, car stations and convenience stores. The room is large in size, and the two of us feel a bit extravagant and well equipped. That is, the garbage bin is less allocated, and there is only one bathroom, which is a little inconvenient. Overall, it's awesome, like one!
