Fantastyczny hotel! Położenie przy samym oceanie, bezpłatny shutlle bus do centrum Funchal, restauracja tematyczna ala carte, przepyszne jedzenie - urozmaicone i sporo owoców morza, all inclusive działa bez zarzutu - nie wiem która sangria lepsza czerwona czy biała. Pokoje czyściutkie funkcjonalna duża łazienka. Wieczorem animacje w tym portugalski folklor - pozdrawiam Filipa z recepcji który skradł show :) Obsługa na światowym najwyższym poziomie - Jeśli Madera to na pewno RIU. Widok z restauracji z tarasu sztos do potęgi. Niedaleko hotelu na końcu promenady można wybrać się na klif poza szlakiem.

The hotel is beautiful and so is the beach and area in general. Very few of the staff are nice. Most are actually mean. The food and drink are terrible. Better off eating at restaurants and having the freedom to do that. All inclusive is a waste.

Overall a great resort. It’s location makes it a good option to explore the island. The food at the buffet was fresh. The only minus is there is Only 1 à la carte restaurant on site. If you can have a réservation, the service is so quick you barely can chew your food. All the personnel was beyond perfect !!! Travelling with 4 kids from 7 to 15, its was a great resort.

This place was amazing! Friendly staff, good food, proper drinks, clean room, everything. The only downside is that you cannot get drinks that are not on their menu, but that's okay they have a variety of options that were wonderful.

Our 25th wedding anniversary at RIU Madeira was a huge disappointment. The hotel completely lacks staff service—finding anyone to help was nearly impossible. No decent shows or entertainment at night left the atmosphere dull and lifeless.
As vegetarians, we struggled to find anything to eat. Almost every dish had meat or fish, and there were zero real vegetarian options. The menu never changes, and the ice cream has the same boring three flavors daily. The chef or manager did not bother to make any effort to prepare a single dish for us!
There’s no jacuzzi! The pool hours are ridiculous: it is only open from 10 to 5, and there are no lifeguards on duty. The sauna and steam bath are also only open during those hours, so if you want to relax after a day out, forget it—everything is closed.
The staff didn’t bother to do anything special for our anniversary, which made us feel ignored and unvalued. Overall, there was no service, nothing memorable, and absolutely nothing to celebrate. I wouldn’t recommend RIU Madeira to anyone, and I certainly won’t be coming back.

The hotel was great. Very clean and nice staff. Drinks at the bar were good and the food was okay. The buffet got old after the week. There was entertainment at night. I really enjoyed the stay and would stay here again.
