Best Hotels near Eriel Chocolates, Canela

The hotel is beautiful, all the facilities are new, all the rooms with a heating and a splendid shower, which will certainly be the best bathroom in your life. We especially love the bikes that are available in the lobby, we had a very different walk through Canela.

O Hotel Encantos do Sul atende agora pela marca Life Hotéis Infinity e sua unidade de Gramado está localizada próximo ao eixo das Hortênsias, ligação entre Gramado e Canela, mais perto de Canela do que do centro de Gramado. Externamente a construção até traz algum ”encanto” para usar o termo sugerido, mas na minha modesta avaliação, para por aí. A fachada do hotel é em estilo alemão característico da região, mas a parte interna não condiz com o a externa. O Hotel conta com corredores de acesso aos apartamentos que circundam justamente esta fachada, deixando as janelas dos quarto abrirem para estes corredores e não para a parte externa de fato, algo que dificulta a iluminação, a ventilação e principalmente a privacidade, uma vez que se você não fechar as cortinas das janelas de seu quarto, quem passar no corredor tem uma clara visão da sua unidade habitacional. O quarto em si é bem amplo, ideal para famílias. Nós ficamos em uma unidade com 4 camas, duas de solteiro e uma de casal e nos atendeu muito bem. As camas eram confortáveis e o hotel é bem silencioso, proporcionando boa qualidade de sono. Internet no quarto boa. Banheiro funcional, meio antigo, mas em boas condições. No geral tudo OK com a unidade que utilizamos, a exceção mesmo das janelas que abriam para o corredor do hotel. Café da manhã bom, com opções normais que atendem bem, mas é exatamente igual todos os dias sem nenhum destaque especial. O hotel conta com estacionamento, um terreno aberto, do outro lado da rua. Não percebi ninguém monitorando ou cuidando mas a região pareceu bem segura, sem receios de deixar o carro lá. Atendimento bom, normal, nada mais do que a obrigação de quem trabalha no setor. Também não tivemos nenhuma demanda que exigisse mais da equipe mas no geral fomos bem recebidos e bem atendidos durante nossa estada. Foi uma hospedagem que nos atendeu mas passou longe da melhor experiência que já tivemos na região, por isso dei apenas um ”Razoável” mas acho que tem bom custo benefício e, pela tarifa certa, penso que nos hospedaríamos novamente.

A few days of rest and relaxation....well, the rooms were large anyway. My wife and I have no words to describe the garbage served for meals at usery prices. But let's start at check in because management should be thrown in the pools then ushered out without towels! Arriving exhausted, a little girl Bruna stood behind the beautiful front desk with the impressive water fall behind her. ”This is going to be impressive, I thought.” Oi...which means hi in Portuguese. Oi, I replied. ”Your name?” Were the next two syllables that came out. (No welcome, great to see you. is this your first visit with us? Just what's your name. But what came next beats any check in I've ever seen or read about. Bruna begins staring at the computer screen while at the same time smelling her wet hair through her nose. I wasn't sure what to say or do. It seemed like a personal moment so I just waited. After what seemed like 10 minutes, she said our room wasn't ready. I told her we actually paid for the night before but were not able to arrive so our room should be ready. She then asked me to see my cell phone reservation. After some time, she called over a colleague who spoke with her for some time then asked if he could take my cell phone to show the manager. ”No,” I said. Be right back, he said. After he came back, saying nothing to me, he spoke to the girl. Shortly after she asked for our documents. No explanation, still no welcome. So that's what being processed feels like. Hungry, we went to the dining room that closes at 3pm. It was 10 past three. I stood at reception for at least 20 minutes, enough time for us to have made lunch. Back to our closed dining room, Sergio was excellent. He escorted us up to the coffee bar (FYI, it opens at noon. Perhaps another name might be in order.) Order anything you want from the menu, he said. We were delighted. Once at the coffee bar a man finally took our order. A few minutes later Sergio was back to take our order. ”We've ordered already, we said.””I know, I need to take your order again, Sergio said.” OK, we thought, whatever. After what seemed like about 30 minutes, our drinks arrived WRONG. The drink order was such a mess we settled for soft drinks. Still waiting for food now some 40 minutes later, it arrived finally. WRONG. They had double ordered our ticket but what arrived first was two orders of my plate. My wife, starving by now, ate what they brought. About 5 minutes later, her order arrived. That's 2 and a half orders of food for those keeping track. Things would have been bad enough if the story ended here but it doesn't. Think of pasta that has the consistency of hard gummy bears and sauce that tastes like warm water with ketchup. Then imagine grease filled French fries and tiny pieces of terrible tasting fish like substance served with tarter sauce. My only possible guess is the people who park cars and the chef decided to switch places for the day. Ah well, there's always breakfast, right? WRONG!

The hotel is wonderful! The service and quality of what is offered are excellent.There are parking in the area and outdoor areas with houses to enjoy the cold outdoor. Weekends are offered interactive activities for adults. There is no room for kids, but the hotel is well organized to receive children in the rooms. The hotel is very beautiful and there are several rooms for socialization, but the restaurant is a little small for the number of guests. The room is wonderful, but the acoustics is not the best, as in most hotels. We will certainly return.

Foi minha mãe e eu apenas. O hotel de modo geral é muito bom, é um hotel simples com café da manha, porem tem uma estrutura que não é aproveitada. Os/As recepcionistas do hotel sempre muito educados, apesar de não nos ajudarem com as malas. Chegamos e o quarto estava limpo e arrumado, tinha toalhas limpas, secador e amenities de banho, a internet funcionava muito bem. Ao cair da noite vimos que tinha alguns cupins com asas no quarto, acredito ser próprio da região, porem seria resolvido se houvesse dedetização no quarto. Falamos o ocorrido na recepção e pedimos que pelo menos fosse jogado um veneno no quarto, não foi sugerido troca de quarto e disseram que iam jogar o veneno, ao chegarmos do passeio a tarde não jogaram veneno nenhum e nos deram o inseticida para que nós mesmos jogássemos. Nos últimos dias já quase não se viram esse tipo de inseto. A limpeza nos quartos durante a estadia, é somente: arrumar a cama, troca de toalhas e jogam um desinfetante no vaso, não passam um pano no chão nem nada e as cobertas de frio, ficam em uma prateleira em cima, totalmente expostas a poeira, etc, não colocam nenhum saco plástico. Pra quem tem rinite e vai em época de frio sugiro que leve sua própria coberta. Como eu fui em época de calor não precisei usar. O Ar condicionado funciona muito bem, tanto para o frio como calor. Como chegamos tarde não deu tempo de passar no supermercado e pedimos uma agua e um copo descartável, e o moço cobrou 10 centavos pelo copo. No café da manha tinha agua porem era pra ser consumida somente no café. Café da manha muito bom tinha bastante fruta e variedade, somente os bolos que não eram todos fresquinhos, mas nada grave. A área do hotel é enorme, tem uma área de camping, porem não tinha nenhuma barraca ou trailer durante a minha estadia. Eu perguntei na recepção e falaram que estava habilitada e era 30 reais por pessoa. Não tinha atividade nenhuma no hotel, nem passeio a cavalo ou animais de fazenda, apenas um parquinho para crianças. Eu perguntei sobre isso na recepção e disseram que devido a pandemia tiveram que realocar os animais e não voltaram a traze-los de novo. Check out não tivemos nenhuma surpresa, foi cobrado o que consumimos e a taxa de turismo (2,50/diária). Conclusão: Recomendo o hotel com essas ressalvas que disse anteriormente. Acho que é um hotel que tem potencial pra entregar mais, porem não é aproveitado. Apesar do trato com os hospedes ser excelente, são muito educados mesmo, todo o pessoal. Poderiam ser mais solícitos com os hospedes, cobrar 10 centavos por um copo descartável, na minha opinião é mesquinharia, poderiam ter sugerido um copo de vidro. Ou então o bebedouro que fica na área do café da manha, pequenas coisas que agradam o hospede e não pesa nada para o hotel.

We arrived and were super well-served. All staff were quite charismatic and performing. The only thing that did not make the stay perfect is the bed of the room. They were two single beds together, making sleep a little uncomfortable. And all the things are perfect

Tudo muito bom... Estrutura ótima, chales com calefação e ótimas camas, aconchegante. Piscina aquecida ótima para crianças, como campinho de futebol. Café da manhã delicioso. Mas o campeão foi o espaço com fogueiras, ótimo para um vinho com amigos ou família ou um chimarrão. Grato pela ótima experiência.

We realized this is the low end of this growing chain of hotels in the city. Upon entering the lobby is freshly decorated and the staff was polite but things got worse as our days continued. We were waiting in the lobby for our ride when a young man approached us about a discount for looking at their newest property. Now, I'd understand this except for the fact that this property is in need of care. Our bedroom had broken lights, drapes that did not close all the way, a shower that the floor needed repair on, and a room that was in general need of a redo. I went to breakfast and discovered the bee hive where our young man selling the new property came from. As I was chased down the hall by another young man trying to sell me another visit to thier showroom, I managed to get by but decided to skip breakfast not wanting to be engaged a third time by the gang that has base camp outside the dining room. How unpleasant. Worst of all, there is a separate beauty shop in the lobby. My wife needed to get her nails done. She made an appointment letting them know she was a hotel guest. Thier system was down as she booked for the next morning. As you can guess, they had no recollection or record of the appointment and told my wife they were booked solid. When my wife asked to see the owner or manager, she was unavailable but, the girl who booked her appointment appeared. In a wave and com'on, she begrudgingly attempted to take my wife back to do her nails. My wife said, ”not like that I'm not going without even an apology or sorry.” The front desk of this hotel, when asked about a restaurant recommendation, looking confused said, ”oh, a place to eat, uhmmmm, I guess I could look and see.” Well done! I guess we won't be back and we certainly won't be booking at your biggest and newest. We needed a place to get our work done and you provided a slop house with your sales people running around bothering everyone at a hotel you run in need of repairs and remodeling. Well done! If you Google, ”great sales techniques,” you'll find under what not to do, this entire hotel as an example including business you allow to mistreat your guests. There are plenty of places to stay in Gramado, pass on this one and the partner chain hotels unless they are the only one left. The good reviews are apperantly from when closer to the time the hotel was built. Build em and abandon them! Excellent strategy folks.
