Santana Beach Resort

From the time my daughter and I checked in at night until we checked out 3 weeks later, we had an extraordinarily positive and eventful stay at Santana Beach Resort. The staff at the reception were welcoming and helpful. We also got a lovely room with 2 balconies - located exactly where we had wanted it. Thank you! Amar - the head of the restaurants worked professionally and made sure from the start of our stay that our wishes were fulfilled in connection with our half board. Amar also followed up continuously to make sure everything was okay throughout our stay. Thank you! Every morning for the most delicious fresh breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, juice, omelette, Indian and regular breakfast and a lot of other stuff - we were greeted at the check-in counter at the entrance by big beautiful Indian smiles from Sunil and Subal and a good morning greeting too - then the start of another positive day could begin. Thank you! The entire morning staff were sweet and helpful - and they constantly worked on tidying up and cleaning, so that the restaurant appeared inviting. Thank you! When Shubham was at work he always came by our table and politely asked if we were doing well - and if we needed help with anything. Very empathetic. Thank you! For dinner we were served daily by an absolutely fantastic team of waiters: Subal, Basant, Biju, Mukesh, Om ……. they gave good recommendations for varied food and drink choices. The smiles, laughter and good vibes was amazing. They also patiently answered our continuous curious questions about Indian culture, family traditions, lifestyle and more. It was a great experience to be allowed to meet them at eye level - as the people behind the waiter. Thank you for wanting to interact so kindly and openly with us every single day - that's what we wanted - all of you was making us happy and feeling good every day. Thank you very very very much! The food is a chapter in itself - completely tasty, fresh ingredients and well-made - so delicious. Thank you! The garden is like a tropical jungle, with coconut palms and a flowerbed in all colors. Gardeners work hard every single day sweeping, watering, mowing, digging in the soil, planting. Thank you for keeping such a beautiful jungle garden! Through the winding garden paths there is direct access to the beach and the Calamari restaurant with a view of the sea. The entire staff on the beach were nice and helpful - and knew we would have delicious fresh Mango juice in the afternoon day after day. They always find sunbeds to us - Thank you! Calamari is well visited, also by Indians. I was lucky enough to meet a few Bollywood stars - who I also got to speak to personally - another extraordinary experience at Santana. Our cleaning *** Sukesh made the cutest towel figures for us every day, which we collected during our stay. They made the room decorative and homely. The room was kept clean and tidy, and we got free bottled water daily. Every time we met the smiling, energetic

Santana Beach Resort did not disappoint this time either! We spent another amazing three weeks in Santana . The staff and environment are the best you can get!! The rooms and the hotel area in general are clean and comfortable. Green and healthy plantings. The staff makes you feel welcome! We highly recommend it!

just returned from 3 wonderful weeks at the Santana. The staff are fantastic a few mentions Subal in the resturant Sanesh the room cleaner and Babu Sankar and Ajay at the pool, all made our stay fantastic. With the yellow heat warning keeping us close to the hotel the whole staff were very attentive and made our holiday brilliant. We can highly recommend the Thursday night entertainment and food. In conclusion we can also rerommend the hotels other resturant Jambalya watched some good entertainment and enjoyed watching the cricket with the general manager who knows all his staff and clients.

Another fantastic stay at this hotel .We have been staying here for 10yrs and now luckily able to stay every March and November.Its like our second home. Special thanks go to Subal,Basan and Muresh in Olegarios restaurant. They waite on us and ensure we have everything we need, especially my fresh Papaya every morning ! Also big Thankyou to Alystare in reception, brilliant sense of humour and very helpful. See you all in November 25 !

Another fabulous 3 weeks spent at Santana Beach Resort.This has got to be one of the best hotels in North Goa by far. All the staff are very polite & nothing is too much trouble for any of them. We will definitely be back here next year. Thankyou!!

Usually we go to South Goa but we thought we would give North Goa a visit. Santana Beach was our choice and what a great choice we made. There were four of us, two couples and one of us was celebrating a special occasion. Reception was easy and we were shown to our rooms. The rooms are large with air conditioning and fans. Our bathroom had been refurbished to a high standard. We also had a safe. The fridge was fully loaded but you had to pay for what you used. There is a kettle in your room with tea and coffee, saying that I’m glad we took our own coffee. There is also two large bottles of water left for you every day FOC. The breakfast was good, we were half board which we were pleased with, as the menu in the evening was excellent and we didn’t feel the need to venture out. Drinks in the complex can be paid for by cash and cards or charged to your room. The grounds are kept to a high standard and the security to the property is good. I’m not going to mention any member of staff by name as they all deserve a mention and there’s too many of them. The lads that serviced our room did it to a high standard every day and their towel art is second to none. The beach is a short walk through the garden where shacks can be found. Would we return to Santana Beach, yes. We’ve already booked for December.
