First time staying at this property. I must say I was surprised how close was to different places. First, at front desk employees were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Employees cleaning the rooms as always working hard and always willing to help. Room was clean and did not have any problems. Close to hotel you can walk to Plaza de las Americas and opposite way go to Costco. Past la Plaza there is a view of lagoon where you can run/ walk and get some exercise early in the morning. At lobby you can talk to a lady about any tours. They have tons of places to go. If you want to go into town, you can get a taxi which is more expensive. If you feel adventurous, you can take a local bus which it would cost 10 pesos vs 300 in taxi. Another way is UBER which I took many times. Overall, a great experience being at this hotel. I walked and run around this property so I learned about restaurants and things to see and do, e-mail me for any questions. Otherwise, enjoy your time in beau Cancún.

Our flight was cancelled.. CUN>JFK.. 24hrs later. This hotel was so accommodating. Although there was a lot of confusion and as chaotic as it was, we still received kind & courteous service. Our party of 4 was given 2 adjoining rooms. Given the situation… We felt safe & comfortable. We highly recommend the outdoor Taco spot around the corner… can’t miss it - Al Pastor tacos right in front - get the Arrachera (steak) Tacos with cheese - super delicious!! The next day, staff.. especially Mateo - was incredibly helpful & informative! He made sure we were well taken cared of!! Mateo was muy excellenté! Muchas gracias con todo!

The picture of endless view from the balcony was taken a number of years ago. Since then a couple of towers have gone up restricting what you see. Whilst it's not the end of the world it is very frustrating that the continue to use photos that are clearly out of date. We booked using Booking.com and the rest of the photos are pretty accurate as are the previous reviews. Mall below giving access to a supermarket, restaurants below and around plus a pretty well equipped kitchen if you want to cater in. The road noise was pretty bad but with the shutters closed at night it didn't bother us. Equally the music from nearby establishments was loud but, hey, this is Mexico. Would I stay again? Probably not.

I booked the Pyramid - Ocean Front room with two other couples based on the online reviews and the fancy brochure I perused online and I wish I could give it 5 stars. To begin with, I booked the Ocean Front room as this was supposed to be an adult-only block of rooms, yet they were not -- there were families with children in this block of hotel rooms, which was quite annoying as I was charged more for choosing the ocean front - adult-only room. Having to go up a set of stairs before reaching the elevators that would take us to our hotel room -- with luggage, mind you, was not fun at all. A huge design flaw. Check-in was fairly quick because we booked the rooms with the black wristband and so that was okay--we avoided a long line. The rooms were clean but the two bathrooms were extremely dated--not at all what you see in the pictures. The pillows were awesome and the bed was comfy enough. The alcoholic beverages were awful, awful, awful. They were extremely watered down and quite frankly a huge disappointment. The choices were extremely limited and what they offered was not good at all--not even the margaritas. The food was okay at the two buffet halls that we frequented----and as with every other review--we couldn't get a reservation at Careyes or Benazuza the nicer restaurants on the property--as they were booked well in advance. The Italian restaurant--La Trattoria was horrible--the food was undercooked and flavorless. We ended up leaving the restaurant and going to eat at the buffet hall--which is where ate for the rest of our stay. There's a lot of walking and a lot of little bridges throughout the property so wear comfortable shoes. The pool was nice and clean, but there wasn't really an adults-only area. We had no trouble finding lounge chairs and if you sit away from the swim-up bar, they do have poolside servers offering drinks--but again, watered-down versions of any alcoholic beverage requested. To get to the beach get ready to go down a huge set of stairs -- the water was very choppy, but if you like the waves like I do, then you'll definitely enjoy the beautiful blue-green water. If you booked your stay with JetBlue Vacations --as we did -- and you added the free transportation (Insider Experience) be sure to schedule your departure well in advance (3 days) or you will have to pay for a taxi to take you to the airport because they will not pick you up nor answer their phone. Also, have your info handy when you arrive at their bus/taxi pick-up location as you're going to need it to even get on the bus to be taken to your hotel. All in all a big disappointment--so I'm glad we only booked a 4-day/3 night mini vacation. We made the best of it and it was nice to get away, but we will definitely not be returning to this property.

There were no major issues during our stay. Excellent service! Tips: Bring plenty of $1s for tipping. I'd recommend tipping around $1 per drink and $5-$10 per meal, more for above-and-beyond service.) Take care of the staff and they will take care of you. Meals: Know the dress code before you dine. The sushi restaurant at Umami doesn't require reservations and the food was amazing. Ivonne, our server, provided superior service. Also, as a vegetarian, I was happy that most of the menus indicated which items were vegetarian, but it was a little frustrating at the buffets to not know which items had meat. For example, at breakfast, I didn't know that the refried beans were made with lard. (However, when we asked about it, the staff offered to accommodate my dietary restrictions the next time we dined. Unfortunately, it was too late as we were leaving early the next morning.) Drinks: The drinks were excellent, I recommend getting a michelada (beer with lime and clam juice). Pools: There are two pools, a pool with a bar (not a swim-up bar) and another with hot tubs. There were plenty of daily activities at the main pool. Rooms: Our room (standard) was great, two double beds. No issues with cleanliness or maid service. I loved that there was a magnifying mirror for putting on makeup in the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was also good for makeup/grooming. There was a hairdryer. Toiletries provided included shampoo, soap, body wash, and lotion. There was an iron and ironing board. The mini-fridge was stocked daily (not by the maids, a different person kept the fridge stocked) with a Sprite, a Coke, 2 large waters, and two beers. (If you need more water, just ask at the front desk.) There's also a coffee pot in the room. All-inclusive: Know ahead of time what's included in the all-inclusive package and/or don't assume; just ask! The all-inclusive does NOT include room service, premium drinks, spa services, certain menu items, or tips. Also, there are some restrictions regarding the Italian restaurant and Umami, but you can eat at Umami without reservations; you only need reservations to sit at the hibachi bar. I made sure to read a lot of reviews for Hotel NYX before this trip; the negative ones seem to be written by disgruntled guests who were rude to the staff or upset about an issue they didn't report during their stay (waiting till they left to complain). Hats off to the guest experience manager who artfully responds to every single review.

As soon as we arrived and waited in line for almost an hour to check in I was told that the swim-up room I had reserved and already paid for was not available due to the fact that they were doing maintenance on the pools. I told them that if I had been informed of this before I flew down here I would have canceled the trip. The front desk clerk apologized for any inconvenience and told me he would have a bottle of wine delivered to my room. I told him that a bottle of wine does not make up for the difference in the price of the room I reserved and one of their regular rooms (about $500 difference for the week). We went to the room and they had placed us in a lagoon side room that is right above the main street in Cancun, you can definitely hear the traffic from the room and it had two twin beds rather than a king that we had reserved. Needless to say, this was terribly disappointing. It took another 6 trips to the front desk and moving our belongings three times before we finally were given the room we had already paid for. The person who finally helped us get this resolved wasn't a manager or a front desk person, it was one of the bellmen who saw a couple who had been messed around and he decided to help out. So I overpaid them and my travel agency and neither one of them will refund me the difference in the rooms. Oh, did I mention that I have been dealing with Expedia ever since my return home September 25th?

There were 29 of us!! Several had upgraded room with butler and he, (Yomelly) couldn’t have been more helpful. Anything we wanted/desired or barely mentioned, he was all over it. My group gave Grand Park an 8/10. The only thing that would have made it a 10 would be more food options. The food provided was good, the rooms and pools very nice…drinks a-plenty, love the coffee & sweets cafe!! As a travel agent, I send a lot of clients to GPR because I’ve stayed twice, I feel it is a 5 ⭐️ resort, walking distance to flea market, easy access to city bus and lots of turtle hatching going on. Felt perfectly safe and will continue to send clients to GPR.

GGuest UserThe Beachscape Kin Ha Villas in Cancun surpassed our expectations. After a small problem with our room the staff found us a new room and upgraded us to a suite, which was wonderful. The views from the sea view rooms are astounding. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Reception very helpful. Staff serving breakfast work hard and are always smiling. They also work in the evenings in the restaurant on the beachfront and bar. The food is very good. We had breakfast included. It was a hot and cold buffet with all sorts of different Mexican and European dishes. Cereal, fruit and pastries. All so nice. The restaurant food was also great. The grounds and gardens were beautiful. The only small detail we would have liked was a full length mirror, but after speaking to reception at the end of our stay they informed us that they are in 98% of the rooms. We should have asked at the beginning! We came to relax for four nights and were definitely able to do that. There is no thumping music playing like some of the other resorts close by. The beach is clean and the water is so clear. Beachscape has a little shop which sells nice beach clothes, swimwear and toys for children. It also has beer, juice, milk, etc… There is a 7/11 around the corner. There is also a supermarket (huge) about ten minutes walk away. This has everything you could possibly need and more! DO NOT be drawn in by the people at the top of the escalators in the supermarket on your way out!! They will ask to see your receipt and tell you that you can get a huge reduction in price on a catamaran trip and breakfast in a beautiful hotel around the corner for 90 minutes of your time. They will take you to another hotel miles away and try to make you buy time share and stay there for hours! The extremely friendly man who talked us into going was not at all friendly once we said we didn’t want time share and was very unhappy when we insisted he call us a taxi to take us back!

GGuest UserBait and switch masters. Given the fact that this is a very popular resort, management obviously feels entitled to provide the service they deem minimally sufficient in order to maximize profits. My wife and I unknowingly made reservations for a takeover four day weekend. The group doing the takeover had their own events either away from the resort or in specific areas of the resort with no access available to the other guests. I had no issue with that fact given that they paid extra for their events. The fact that the group had over 80% of the rooms reserved resulted in the events organized for the rest of the guests, having next to no attendance, the club was dead every night we were there. The takeover group was very friendly and we had no issues with them. We didn’t see them very much. I requested a transfer to another one of their resorts but Adrian Guevara, supervisor on duty for Premier member services, was unwilling to transfer us unless I paid current prices for those resorts. I made my reservation for temptation ten months ago and even then, the rooms were far from inexpensive. I was not willing to pay more to be transferred. Mr Guevara was rude and the furthest thing from service oriented. Though the entertainment staff tried to improve the atmosphere, the playmakers were for the most part, the only ones on the dance floor every night we were there. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

GGuest UserWhere do I start from? Daniel , Erik and the whole squad were exceptional. SLS Cancun is situated in the Marina which is probably the most expensive and most luxurious place in the whole of Cancun. There are loads of restaurants and a big shopping mall literally 7-10 mins walk from the hotel. The Marina is amazing with loads of fine dinning and descent priced restaurants. I stayed in one of the suites which happens to have 2 bathrooms and a full ocean view. The best thing about this hotel and the area (the Marina) is how private, secure (tho Cancun is safe) and affluent the area is. I call the area little Miami. If you want a loud noisy area, this is not the place for you. But if you want a bit of class and then drive into the noisy area and back to peace then SLS is for you. People pay to come to the beach so it’s a private beach but obviously free for hotel guest , so you will never see a rowdy group of people. I rented a car during my stay through the hotel without even paying a deposit to the car company and obviously you get Valet parking every time. The guys are attentive and always happy to help.Ask for Daniel and Erik, those guys are everything you need. I’ll see you soon.

AAnonymous UserLocation was great. Close to everything. Service was great. Not all inclusive, only served breakfast, the same things daily. The hotel lobby has a small bar area that served drinks from 11am to 11pm for free. The week we stayed obviously was a bad week. The elevator always reeked of ****. We could not enjoy the pool due to the **** smell and the loud obnoxious music the other hotel guests were playing. Loud guests every night. Had to call the front desk to get them to quiet down one night so we could sleep.

MMichael AsferachewI had a fairly okay experience here but compared to the other hotels I've stayed in cancun this takes the bottom. Check in at the hotel desk are long, hotel room is tiny and you can hear sounds from the other room next to you and there was also construction going on so noise was an issue and hotel rooms bath room doesn't have an air ventilation systems so all your business stays in the restroom. Also considering this has a party beach outside, this hotel is not for people that enjoy the quiet side of life. It's difficult to sleep at night when there's a party outside past midnight. The only upside is if you pay for the all inclusive package your meals are covered that's the awesome part they have got a good buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That's the only thing that made me and my family happy for staying at this hotel.

Iice00000First of all, I would like to thank Ctrip for its integrity. The order price has a small problem. Ctrip has communicated in time and has not caused any loss or unpleasantness to the customer. When leaving the store, the customer service at the front desk told me that the domestic website is not working, but I still trust it through this. Our Ctrip.

GGuest UserThe accommodations at All Ritmo were exceptional! The desk staff was efficient, friendly, and answered all questions in detail. The dining staff - waiters and servers also were cordial and ensured that everything necessary for a fantastic experience was provided. The same with the pool bar staff.... very friendly and accommodating. The desk staff arranged transportation several times - it was on time and the drivers were cordial. I am recommending that my family and friends also choose All Ritmo when they travel to Cancun. My son and I thank the staff of All Ritmo for a wonderful holiday. Earl
