The Yellow Capsule Experience

Let me get the bad out of the way which is only that they did not answer the phone. Also the escalator and elevator going up did not work. This was frustrating as I was trying to coordinate transportation to get there and carrying my bags upstairs was exhausting. Now the good which is so much! The place is super clean and very well designed. The whole capsule idea is genius! It feels like I’m going into a bunk on a spaceship. For how small it is there was plenty of room to feel comfortable. There’s a TV a hook, and even a pull out table! The bathrooms and showers were very clean. I love how quiet it was. I had a wild time in Cancun and I wanted this to respite before my flight. It stays 62 degrees which is cold for me but they graciously offer blankets. Breakfast is included. I don’t eat breakfast so they made me a plate to go. I thought that was super nice. I wish there were more of these around the world. Awesome experience!

A very good hotel, with excellent attention and service at the reception, breakfast that includes quite good, the comfort of the bed the best, as well as the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, and with many gastronomic options in the afternoon and evening , a very good option to spend your vacation or one on a low budget.

The room was very clean and modern. It was nice to able to cook my own meals to save money. The staff were very helpful and polite. It's not a resort. It's a place to stay after a long day at the beach.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times, after we fly into Cancun, and before we start our actual vacation each year. I highly recommend booking a room in advance. It's the best way to get the kind of room you want, and at a reasonable price. Also less expensive to book through Trip Advisor, or another booking company. If you book through Hampton Inn, it'll cost more.

It was a decent hotel. Our room was a good size with a private patio. The beds were comfortable, and the wifi worked great in the room. There was parking for our car without any extra fees. Downside some of the cosmetics in the room, along with the building, were broken. There was no ice machine available. Air conditioning in our room was leaking when we first got there. Took them about 48 hours to even attempt to fix it. Most of the front desk, along with the supervisor, didn't seem to care at first about the issues. However, Perla was amazing she was super attentive and was able to problem solve quickly. Breakfast was decent, but if you don't like eggs, there are little to no options available.
