Hotels Near Kukulcan Plaza in Cancun

Not enough words to compliment this stay! The hotel was HUGE, has 2 pools on each side! Our room had the most amazing view, open our sliding door and walk right out onto the beach. The service was great as well, everyone was super friendly from front desk, workers other guests, Housekeeping, etc! Will definitely return very soon!

Everything was good but there was a lack of staff and there was no good service

After the trip to Cancun, I felt exhausted. Marriott's magical operation was beyond my understanding. I booked a Club 91 King Room for the first night, and the second night renewal fee increased by 1,500, and I changed to a Seaview Deluxe King Room: 1) I booked a Seaview Deluxe King Room, but found it was a twin room when I checked in, and it was very humid. I didn't bother to ask the front desk to change it; 2) Club 91 offers a free SPA, but when I made an appointment, I was told that it was just a hand, which lasted for about a few minutes, without the body. I enjoyed it for nothing, but the hand was not needed; 3) When checking out, I checked out the Seaview Room first. The list showed 6 lines including room fee and various taxes, all on the bill. Fortunately, I could speak some English, so I asked the front desk one more question. They said that I had already paid other fees except the resort fee on Ctrip, so why did I have to pay? Then I checked; 4) When I settled the Club 91 bill again, the amount I had paid was not on the bill, but there was an additional mini bar consumption. I was so busy that day that I only drank 2 bottles of free water in the room, and then I checked again; 5) I asked the hotel how many pesos it would cost if I could help call a taxi to the airport? The reply was 700. I happened to see a taxi driver waiting for passengers. I asked him and he said 500, so I got in the car without hesitation. 6) I forgot a beloved dress in the room when I checked out. After I left, I found out that I forgot to call the hotel again. They said they didn’t see it. They swore that the dress was only worn in the hotel and never left the hotel lobby. I asked for a day, but they still said no. I still feel sad. Looking back, I don’t know if these are pitfalls or coincidences? The hotel front desk and Club 91 staff are very friendly, and the facilities, environment, outdoor swimming pool, and exclusive beach are all good.

Location is perfect. It’s easy access to everywhere. But service is average. Some staff is friendly, some of them is not friendly. But it’s not 5 star hotel, so it’s okay. Conclusion, I got satisfied with booking this hotel. It’s nice to access to private beach. Swimming pool is also great!

The hotel is in a great location, the scenery is particularly charming, and the all-inclusive service made me gain a lot of weight. But the only drawback is that the hotel deliberately put very few lounge chairs. Guests either need to go before 7 am to reserve a seat, or they have to rely on luck to get one, just like reserving a seat for self-study before the final exam when they were in college in China. If you don't get a free lounge chair, you can also choose a paid beach bed (as shown in Figure 6), but it costs $250 a day. Yes, I have confirmed repeatedly that the currency is US dollars.

A nice hotel that caters to the ”All Inclusive” crowd. If you're looking for a vacation with no surprises and never plan on venturing off the grounds then this is your place. If on the other hand you want get out and explore your surroundings, and try the local food there are probably better options as they treat you like second class citizens. Constantly pointing out that you are not on the meal plan. So getting things as simple as a morning coffee or a drink at the swim up bar is borderline frustrating. This hotel is located in an isolated part of the hotel zone so expect to catch a bus or taxi to the more lively places for food and activities. Great beach, nice pools and and clean upscale rooms

Amazing stuff, very polite and ready to solve your problems. Hotel rooms is new and clean. Very close to the beach, like 2 min. I would definitely come back here

The hotel is in a great location and has very good facilities. The food is good, and some of the waiters are friendly and enthusiastic. But I have to say a few things. The damp walls of the hotel are all water-stained, and the bedding is damp. It is recommended not to wash clothes during your stay, and dry clothes cannot be taken out, as they will get wet. This should be because it is near the sea. But it is not suitable for long stays. There is another thing that made me very unhappy. I checked out at 12 noon, stored my luggage, and went to have lunch. The concierge at the baggage department asked me if I wanted to take a taxi. I said I would take Uber, and he was a little unhappy. When I came back to pick up my luggage, they didn't store my luggage and left my luggage alone outside the door. I was very angry at the time, and I felt like a guest kicked out of the hotel. It's too much!

Our first night we sat and dined at 'the Palapa' and had no problems however the next morning for breakfast when we found a table and sat a young lady came and told us that the next time we needed to wait for her to seat us and it felt as if we were being scolded for not knowing that.
