The hotel is similar to a three star hotel but is very economical for the prices it offers. Best part was the morning breakfast buffet. They have a cook who carefully prepares omeletes and quesadillas, definitely recommend the chicken chipotle quesadillas. Buffet may not be included so you may want to double check to be sure.
The living quarters were basic as well. You will have a security box, closet, small tv. They commonly clean every morning, if you don't want it to be clean you can place the do not disturb packard. Everything in the room is white, you will have a decent view of the buildings around, but the view is relaxing. Btw, it's advised to secure your belongings if you have a suitcase, this logic would apply any hotel you go to, better safe then sorry. Staff were very nice, everyone within the buffet mostly speak perfect english, but the cleaning ladies were not able to. Just something to be aware of.
*** If you love starbucks, they have one at the entrance. They can't make a Barbie Frappuccino but they have most drinks similar to the aiports.
I did not go to the pool of gym due to frequent travel to Xcaret. This is a hotel morentowards those who do travel versus the cost of an all inclusive.
Overall, this hotel is budget friendly and the concierge/staff were very kind. Defintely worth the considering.
FYI, you want to run the water for a little to get it hot. Its more between hot and warm, they could update the shower heads. Bht they give you plenty of towels they have a blowdryer aswell.
Also, outlets may be an issue in the single rooms, the family rooms are well equiped.
Close to the airport aswell, the drive is around 10 minutes.

If needed to be honest I would say check if there’s a better place for the price might be planning to pay for Krystal. I believe there’s more choice out there if only you’re not in high season

I was mistaken about the location and thought I was booking the Krystal Cancun hotel which is located a few miles away in the beach. However the Krystal Urban is a sister hotel and had a free round trip shuttle to take guests over and let them stay all day enjoying the beach and pools. The room service was very friendly and prompt. The breakfast buffet was good, however we felt invisible because the waitstaff completely ignored us if we asked for coffee. We finally asked the manager and he acted completely bothered. Don’t even bother to ask for cream either cause you will never get it. The dinner menu prices we very reasonable but 3 nights in a row they didn’t have the ravioli nor the brownie with ice cream. The chicken soup, spaghetti and especially the lemon cake were delicious !!!
The pool is super small. The picture makes it look larger. The staff was very friendly at the front desk, room service and the Starbucks.

I waited over 2 hours to be checked in only to be given a room that was occupied , the service at the Krystal was pathetic and professional the staff could hardly communicate in English , the hotel room I asked for was meant to be a smoke free room yet smelled bad , I would never recommend this hotel

For its price the hotel is excellent, the view from the balcony is just super, the breakfasts are good, the location is in the very center but not the Hotelero zone.

The hotel is generally clean, the room is big, but the table is small. When booking the room, it showed a free beach club pass, and I also received a confirmation email from the hotel. But when I asked at the front desk how to use it, I was told that I had to stay for more than 2 consecutive nights. I only stayed for one night, so I couldn't use it. I waited in vain.

When I asked about the hotel room, I saw shabby furniture, a smell from the corridor carpet, the room also had a bad smell, and the mattress was very dirty, the sheets were fluffy and unclean, there was no refrigerator, microwave, and almost nothing. There is only one bathroom, two beds and a table. The front desk receptionist had a bad attitude and zero customer service. If you don’t book the pick-up and drop-off itinerary to this hotel, some of the itineraries you order again are already full.
If you can't make a reservation and you are too tired after flying for nearly 30 hours, you really don't want to spend a day. Bad, bad, bad! It’s hard to describe in one word!

I had requested a room with a king-size bed and the absolutely negligent manager did not want to change the room with two beds that they gave me. Fortunately the man at the reception helped but the attitude was terrible.
