Wow this resort hotel has views everywhere! The architectural design of the hotel is stunning. I love how the design team timed the shade for the hotel pools. The kids pool is shaded in the morning when the sun is the most intense and it is sunny in the later afternoon when the sun is a tad milder. The big pool is sunny most of the day and then shady later in the afternoon so it kind of works in opposites due to the structure and layout of the hotel main building. It's really nice and ideal. You don’t want to get totally annihilated with sunburn and have your babies getting sunburn - we do what we can to avoid skin cancer. The main pool is truly a stunning pool and the cleanest. We loved the pool in front of the kiddie pool as well. The adult infinity pool on the top floor had a great view but the service was not as good, it got crowded and the pool was a little murky and dirtier. Frankly, I love the shade when I am in intense sun but I can see how if you were here during the winter or fall when the temperature out is in the 60s and 70s , pools in any hotel are going to be colder with that temp. That’s why we prepare to travel to Mexico in the Yucatán late spring to early summer. My husband got melanoma at 40. OSCAR in the preferred concierge area made our trip extra special and he went above and beyond to accommodate us with great service! I cannot recommend him more. He helped us with dinner reservations, helped us take care of our toddler when he got sick, surprised us in a funny way with great things including helping us upgrade our room. He also had a sense of humor and a relaxed smooth way about him. Reynalda our housekeeper had our room immaculate as she was impeccable and we always tipped her daily. You should always tip your housekeeper every time they clean your room, if it’s really messy then you want to tip more. Other honorable staff mentions were Carlos at the Italian restaurant, he was super friendly and helpful every time we walked by him. Alvin down by the beach was nice too. We also really liked Luis at the main concierge. Room service, and their staff were always ultra helpful and exceptionally kind and patient. They helped us with modifications to our orders and never got curt or annoyed. The hotel operators at the end of the line were always stellar as well. I misplaced something in my room and they were quick to let security know and check with lost and found immediately. They also connected me with various external numbers several times. They were always polite and helpful and never impatient. They even looked up things for me on google and called other areas of the resort for us! The spa was real nice and my masseuse at the spa Gladys was great. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by the hydrotherapy circuit. It was very small and quick and the jets were a little weak. This was our first visit to this resort, but our 10th all inclusive. Pros: -Close to airport (30 minutes) -Food and drinks (favorite from all inclusive) -Staff— simply amazing -Activities (yoga, Bingo, wine tasting, tequila tasting) -Service -App (so much info and can request services) -Rooftop pool for adults only -Rooftop bar -Vista Taco/LaPlaza Food Hall —Yum! Cons: -Wind is awful -Little to know walking area/resort is very small -Lunch buffet (skip it) -Beach is small -Entertainment (no theater)

The entire staff at Dreams Vista Resort make you feel very special. I had an extraordinary experience with Carlos Yepez who greeted me every day for breakfast and got me my favorite dessert after I finished! Carlos is very warm, friendly and uplifting! I can’t thank him enough!
