"We only stayed for 3 days so we probably can’t talk about everything this place has to offer, but here’s our input nonetheless based on our experience!
Pros:
-Huge dorm with lockers and a table
-Comfortable beds
-TV room and rooftop terrace
-Paid lockers for an extra level of security
-All equipped kitchen with shared fridges
-Close to bus stops and malls
Cons:
-Shower area isn’t the cleanest especially on the male side
-Carpet floor was weirdly stained in our room
Overall a decent place to stay at, nothing too extra but still nice! You can get there directly from the airport via the bus in around 20min."
"The hotel is not bad, there is a washing machine, you can wash clothes, and the stove can cook, but I didn't do it. It is in the center of Canberra, very convenient!"
"I booked a two-bedroom apartment. The room is large and spacious. The view of the hall is mountain view, very beautiful. Once inside the hall is the bar, the lights are dim, the music is delicious, the western food is there, the hotel is very big, the bar is just a few, there is also a movie theater. The decorations are all wood strips, I can't understand them, I feel special art. Both bedrooms have no windows and are just a bathroom. There are many kitchen utensils and many tableware. Breakfast is the kind of order. Very close to the city center, a quiet hotel. More than 2,000 a night, the front desk will not be Chinese, it is a hotel for foreigners. Canberra has a beautiful view and is especially suitable for living."

"It was ok. We were upgraded to a deluxe which was a bit bigger apparently. The room was very small which would make a standard room tiny you wouldn't want to stay more than one night. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom, & the window didn't open no hair dryer in the room I found out later there shared??? Lucky I brought my own. There was no complimentary bottle of water no books with info on Canberra if this was my first visit to Canberra I would be disappointed. No checkout time given at checkin nothing explaining breakfast if you wanted. Very over priced for what you get compared to other hotels in Canberra"
"The overall experience was good. I ordered a two-bedroom apartment, which is a two-bedroom shared toilet. Please write it here for everyone who wants to order. The environment is nice and quiet, the rooms are relatively clean and tidy, the daily necessities provided are relatively complete, and the price is relatively high. The only drawback was that there was a problem with the water heater in the room at that time. There was always no hot water in the bath, but it was reflected to the front desk, hoping to resolve it as soon as possible."
"It was my first time in the capital of Australia. I did some research and read other people's reviews. I finally chose this one. Of course, I also stayed in their chain hotels in other cities in Australia. Fortunately, I didn't live near the train station. It completely overturned my perception of a capital train station. It's too rubbish. In my big oriental country, the current town train stations are better than this one.
There are food places near the hotel, especially not far from the number one steak restaurant, which is good!"
"The choice of this hotel was also decided after reading the strategy and comprehensive consideration. After checking in, first of all, I was amazed by the design of the hotel inside and outside, and I was very happy. The overall facilities and services of the hotel are not bad. The smile and voice of an Asian waitress in the breakfast room make people feel very sincere, warm and comfortable; the meals in the bar are basically vegetarian, but full of creativity It's delicious and not expensive (compared with restaurants outside and gourmet shops in commercial centers); everything in the minibar in the room is free, including wine, beer, cola, milk, nuts, potato chips... small food. This is not available in ordinary hotels; the room is very quiet, and I don’t think the sound insulation is bad (maybe it’s off-season?), the hotel’s hygiene is very good, the room supplies are very clean, and slippers, toothbrushes and other accessories are not necessary. But the hotel provides it free of charge according to the needs of the guests, and you can ask for it at the front desk. The downside is that the light in the guest room is too dark (the patrons are pursuing a sense of design), and guests need to look bright! Also, all the door touches in the guest room don't work well."
"Canberra was.made.much more bearable by the polite and great staff of the Sebel..room.was impecably clean. One of the days i left my safe open with my cards and passporr unsecured and the cleaning staff did not disappoint me by not touching my stuff. The room was spacious and had good view of the sunset. I liked how helpful the front desk was. Would love to stay again. An Accor hotel asset !"
"I recently stayed at this hotel and loved the environment.
Most of the staff were friendly, but one male staff with dark hair wasn’t very patient during check-in. Details like parking, breakfast and check-out weren’t mentioned. This oversight led to confusion, and when I was leaving the parking area, I had to return to the front desk to ask for clarification to avoid being double-charged.
Great environment overall, but better communication would help."
"The hotel is located in the city center, opposite a large shopping mall, which is very convenient for shopping and eating, and convenient for travel. I highly recommend it. The room is very large, and there is a kitchen with all the pots, pans, and plates. Haha, I have to give it a thumbs up!"

HHo FungAs the hotel is branded and priced as Park Hyatt instead of Hyatt Hotel, more is expected especially the concierge service. The design of room is a little bit strange and waste of space as it comes with a very long corridor but with only a desk there.
BBaigenThis hotel is really good, with a great location, very close to Parliament Square, the National Gallery, the National Museum, and the Military Memorial. The parking lot is free, the accommodation environment is quiet, the room is clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable! A good choice!
AAnonymous UserI've been to Canberra twice. This is the best hotel I've stayed in. It's really nice. The staff are warm and considerate. The room is big, new and smells good. There were 4 people here this time and we had an extra bed in the living room. It's very convenient. It's only 5 minutes away from Parliament Hill in Canberra. It's in the center of the city. The location is very good. Parking is free on weekends. It's really good. Next to it is the Burbury Hotel, but this hotel has excellent value for money. It's really good. It's clean and comfortable. The location is great. Excellent, I will continue to stay there if I have the opportunity in the future, 5-star recommendation! Canberra feels great this time 😌
GGuest UserOur first experience with A by Adina was in Sydney, so we decided to try the one in Canberra. We loved the vibe, the cleanliness, and the layout of the room we stayed in. The gym was smaller than I expected but it was good enough for me to get in a workout. We were celebrating my partner's birthday and usually at other hotels, we would be given something like a small chocolate or a complimentary beverage but we didn't receive anything so don't expect something if you're celebrating a special occasion during your stay. The location is amazing as it is within walking distance to Canberra City Centre and surrounding suburbs. Would recommend this hotel if you want to stay close to the CBD.

CChongLocation : Very near the airport, and yet not noisy at all.
Cleanliness : Housekeeping team is not very careful, left previous guest food on the table. Did not vacuum the floor properly. After i have reported the incident, the housekeeping department send a bottle of wine to apologise. Good gesture.
Service : Front desk staff & manager is very efficient & helpful.
Facilities : Can't commend as did not use at all.
CChengThe room and bathroom were quite clean! !! The counter staff is very kind! !! About 20-30 minutes from the airport, but not too far from several well-known attractions, very convenient
KKlausThe Hotel is located at a good place close to park, shopping center, restaurants and casino. The breakfast is not very convincing and the room is quiet old fashioned with only bathtube.

GGuest UserGood location, walking distance to Canberra center;
The room is clean and layout is quite fanny ( two levels), beds are comfortable. The breakfast is above average, and we did enjoy the dinner too.
Secured parking with ev charger , which is very convenient.
In summary, had a good stay with Mercure and definitely want to come back if we visit Canberra again.
GGuest UserNot that clean. It's ok. TV doesn't connect even though it has an option to. Staff leave early and no phones to call reception. I didn't get a WiFi password I had to ask the lady next door because reception closed right after I checked in.
It's not too bad. All I needed was a bed and a bathroom but I can't say it was clean. It was just tidy, at least the sheets were clean. Carpet was definitely not. Also, blinds in bathroom are broken.
SSharonAnything that could go wrong did go wrong!!! For a disabled room there was no power point near the bed. The only available power point in the room was in the bathroom. The air conditioning was manually powered and was positioned above the window so anyone in a wheelchair or that was short could not reach it. The only place to hang up your clothes was on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom was quite large but when I went to put the towel on the hanger it came apart!!!! And the top of the toilet was broken. Then I opened the fridge and it looked like a soda can had exploded and nobody had cleaned it. When I informed the staff member he was very lovely, he came in and cleaned the fridge, gave me a power board and extension cord for the bed which did help. But then in the morning the young staff member on took an hour and half to bring a toasted sandwich to my room after saying it would only be 10mins. He had clearly forgotten about it. So after such a bad experience I asked for my money back!!!!
