We all loved our stay at Al Sole in Canazei. The rooms were a good size and had comfortable beds, plenty of storage space with a high quality bathroom/shower. Staff in hotel and restaurant were friendly and helpful and persevered despite language barriers. They also put on a great NYE party. The food was fantastic. As for the spa I hardly considered it when booking, but used it most days after skiing. It is well equipped and clean and a real highlight. There are 2 saunas, a Turkish bath and a small pool, all so relaxing. As for Dolomites the snow is unreal, such good pistes right down to the village, then 50m walk to the hotel. To the gondola in the morning is around 300m downhill. Would definitely return.

We came to Canazei on a motorcycle trip, stayed 10 days, and we're very happy with our choice of Hotel Al Sole. We were able to park the motorcycles in underground parking which was great in a town where parking is difficult. The room was clean and a good size with a nice view of a mountain off the balcony. The bed and quilt were so comfortable and I loved the fact that they gave us complimentary bath robes to use. The pool, sauna, relaxation room and gym were on the first floor and we used them quite a bit. There is a laundry room on the first floor also and the manager was kind enough to transfer our clothes from the washer to the dryer. Every morning we looked forward to the awesome buffet breakfast which included everything from fruit, to pastries, cereal, meats, cheeses, and cappucino....anything you might want. Each staff member was extremely helpful and went out of their way to please. The location of Canazei is right in the middle of the Dolomites which is awesome for motorcycle riding, bicycle riding or hiking. If we come again we will definitely stay at Hotel Al Sole.

We had a lovely time at the Al Sole, 3 couples plus two grandchildren.2 year olds. fabulous rooms, cheery helpful reception, good food in the restaurant with hugely entertaining staff. great spa and pool area and a lovely Nanny, Frederika after 330 in the baby club. Rocky the waiter / Maitre 'd in the restaurant was a Manuel figure who couldn't have tried harder. Great location, 100 yds from the end of the piste and a 5 min walk to the gondola. would highly recommend

Excellent all round. V helpful friendly staff, (nothing was too much trouble. ) Clean & well organised rooms Pool sauna area Playroom for children very well run & organised & generally a great place to stay. Restaurant had good food for both meals. V convenient for town & lifts a short walk.

This little hotel offered everything. Such a friendly, welcoming hotel. The pool was great as were the additional spa facilities which were saunas, steam rooms, relax room, complementary teas etc. the room was spacious enough for three to live comfortably, there were complementary bathrobes too. The rooms were cleaned every day and sheets changed. The towels were too if required but as they are trying to do their bit for the environment, the choice was there to reuse. What can I say about the restaurant… amazing food in the evening, the restaurant staff were exceptional, always squeezing us in if we hadn’t booked but I would suggest booking if your not staying half board as the restaurant is very popular to all Canazei holiday goers. If I had to critique at all, it would be the breakfast. It’s continental, not hot. I think they could improve in that if I was being super picky! All in all, we would visit again in a heartbeat. Very quiet, very clean, very welcoming, great views… we had a huge balcony which we weren’t expecting. Brilliant place! Thank you for a wonderful time AlSole.

The entire staff at this hotel is fantastic. Very accommodating and eager to make sure you have a good time and everything you need. The restaurant has delicious food, really very good food and very friendly and classy atmosphere. We simply could have not been happier of our stay. I would like to mention that I am Italian from Bologna and I currently live in Seattle, USA. I brought my mom, grandma, aunt and uncle from Italy and another 12 friends from the USA. We were a very big group, with diverse need, and everyone really enjoyed their stay.

Family suite offered lots of space, comfortable and clean. The beds were great and it was a bonus to have 2 bathrooms. Our kids were delighted to have their own space separate to us. Lovely welcoming staff and amazing views from the sunny balcony.
