My husband booked this online as a birthday gift for me as we always gift each other a B&B get away. He booked online on a Friday to go the following weekend on a Saturday. He booked based on other reviews and of the positive restaurant reviews onsite. On Tuesday he emailed Frogtown requesting a restaurant reservation. No response. I therefore called & left a voicemail. Had a lovely discussion with Carol when she called me back the following day and who advised that Butter, their onsite restaurant, was unfortunately, going to be closed because she & Mark were going out of town. Carol was gracious enough to offer to book us at another restaurant up the street. However, we were disappointed as a big reason why my husband booked at all was based on restaurant reviews. But we still decided to go. We drive two hours to pull up to a black top big parking lot with the Frogtown Inn practically on top of the loud street. No beautiful grounds, no seclusion, just a large paved parking lot. (See pictures). Every single B&B we have been to has beautiful grounds….not this one. There were dumpsters and overgrown brush outside. Some chairs and picnic tables but nothing like grounds on any other B&B we’ve ever experienced. Walk inside…without our bags as we were not liking the exterior, to a dark interior. No welcome drinks, pastries or snacks. No tour of the house. There was a bar off to the side…that too was closed, which again, was not stated online. So again, there was nothing stating on the website that both the restaurant and the bar we’re going to be closed at the time of booking. We found out about the restaurant a few days later and we found out about the bar upon arrival. We were shown to our room and welcomed to an odd colored pink door. A very loud window air conditioning unit, the shoddy slide-close bathroom door and very tiny shower stall (pictured). This did not resemble any of the pictures that my husband saw online when he was booking the reservation. There was also dirt on one of the bathroom towels. We were beyond disappointed. $403 for this place? We have never before left a B&B but we decided within minutes we were not staying here. We asked the owners for a full refund based on all of the above. They wanted time to think about it. After a few days without hearing from them, I sent them an email and they responded two days later that they would provide a 25% discount bringing our total to $299.75. With gorgeous Skytop Lodge 7 minutes away on stunning grounds, activities, greeted with lemonade and homemade cookies and more cost efficient, we decided to stay there instead as we had been there before and knew how beautiful it was.

My wife and I just celebrated our 53rd anniversary at the Frogtown Inn B&B. The staff made everyone feel comfortable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was superb. Mark, one of the owners, is also a chef. The dishes he served for breakfast and dinner were out of this world. Carol and Mark have a place worth visiting. The staff, including Mark's mom Ruth, made everything extraordinary. Thanks to all.

A+++ Hospitality and food!! This our second stay here and will not be our last. Made reservations directly with Mark on the phone. When we arrived Mark was waiting with our room keys. The interior decor was eclectic and changes seasonally. Our room was quaint and very clean. Had dinner reservations at the restaurant, Butter. Had a few drinks at the bar and then dinner. The entire staff was very personable and the food was excellent. In the morning had breakfast which was included with our stay. Once again, the menu options, service and food quality did not disappoint. The entire stay, we were treated as and felt like family. Thank you Mark and Carol for another wonderful stay!!

I have had the pleasure of staying here several times in several different seasons and have found the accommodations to be totally relaxing and a great place to recharge. The butter restaurant here is the best place in the Pocono’s to get a gourmet meal snd a trained staff is there to help. Plenty of near by attractions offer diversity snd you feel well rested by your stay. It is open most of the year snd offers private catering fur life vents . I highly recommend

The room and bed were comfortable. The meals at their restaurant Butter were fantastic! The owners are wonderful and fun to talk to. Marc, also the chef, clearly loves what he does and it shows in his cooking. The brook is an added bonus. Thanks for a great anniversary stay and attention!

We originally booked a single night in their largest room but due to issues opening our seasonal home made it two nights. Nicely done rooms with nice snacks snd water, , comfortable bed snd loads of parking and help our luggage. The owners are known to us and it was all first name basis snd very pleasant The staff made us feel Like part if the family and the best part was then amazing dinner snd breakfast that we received. Their restaurant Butter manned by Mark a new tribes snd seasoned chef had multiple diecisls and the veal chop Was just fabulous. Vonecc nc snd see gur yourselves

First it’s easy to find that’s always a plus. It’s cozy but not small. It’s absolutely beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Slept like a rock under the warm comforter. The real highlight here is breakfast. Chef own Mark made us the best pancakes I believe I have ever had. Even 12 hrs later I’m snacking thinking I must write a review. Family and pet friendly this place way perfect!
