Bamboo Eco Village

Interesting lodge. Rooms were nice and I love the bamboo aesthetic. Pool had just opened up that day for first time so we were very lucky and it was a really nice pool especially after a hot days bike ride. Dinner was good, breakfast was okay. Staff friendly.

Bamboo Eco Village is a gem. The grounds are lovely with numerous sitting places and hideaways and the bamboo bungalows are amazing, and the hosts are charming and so helpful. One of the best places we stayed in our 3 weeks in Vietnam. Be sure to ride the free bikes around the island (it only takes 20 minutes) and take the excellent floating market tour, which leaves right from the lodge's dock.

After travelling for three weeks in Vietnam, this is the best resort so far. The bungalow is setting in middle of fruit garden and flowers. There is a restaurant nearby, breakfast is varied and dinner is also really excellent. The staffs are so helpful, they offer for us alot of information which make our trip easier and more special. Highly recommend for any one looking peaceful and natural accommodation. My only regret is that we only stayed three nights here. Definitely, we will comeback i the not distant future.

We booked Bamboo for our holiday. We had a bungalow with garden view. The room is unique compared to all of our previous resorts with a lot of charm and architecture. Breakfast are extensive and yummy. The staff and house keeping are so kind and lovely. To sum up, we feel very welcome like a family.

We spend 2 nights here and have advised the travel agent not to put any clients here in the near future. Reason is that at the moment there are construction works going on from 7am until dawn. They are building a pool. However they do that with a noisy excavator which you hear everywhere. We came for tranquility so you can imagine that we did not get that. Furthermore this is the warmer area of Vietnam so we would have wanted a place with pool already. Otherwise you can only sit at your room. The staff is very friendly though. Downsides: we ordered an ice coffee and my wife had a long black hair inside her glass in the drink !! We (only) got an apology. My wife sat in the bamboo couch near the reception and a nail was sticking out which ripped her pants. She got an apology. I waited until we got the bill at the end and there was no deduction whatsoever. Big disappoin**ent. Suggestion to the staff: when there is a black hair in a drink: offer a new one! When someone rips their pants at least offer something. We are not looking for money but a gesture would have made a difference. End conclusion: I would not recommend this place at the moment.

We wish we could have stayed a few days at least, but we are lucky to be able to visit it even if just for one night. Very nice location and relaxing, comfortable accommodation. Maybe bathroom can be improved a bit but overall a really nice place. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Would love to return one day!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Eco Village. It's not in the main area of the city and they have to send a golf cart out to bring you into the lodging. The hosts/staff was wonderful; the lodging was clean, spacious; the grounds beautifully kept; the food on site was delicious; we enjoyed kayaking and biking in the adjacent neighborhood. We had an early tour of the Mekong River on the last day and the staff was so kind to wake up early and helped us with this. This was a unique experience (away from the crowds) and among the top highlights of our trip. My teens loved it and so did we!

We just spent 3 amazing days at this beautiful eco village set among an array of flowering plants and shrubs, towering palms, lovely fruit trees and canals filled with fish. Our spacious bungalow had a great bed, strong shower, a fridge and it was so nice to sit on the deck enjoying the butterflies and birds😊. They also have great quality bikes and biking around the neighborhoods along the canals was so fun! There’s a lovely spot to sit and have a drink right on the edge the river in comfy bamboo loungers. So relaxing 😎 But the best part of our experience was the staff who work here. They were so kind and welcoming especially Anh, Hao and Bao. And the staff that cooked our meals did an excellent job as we enjoyed every meal 😋. Also they offer an alternative to plastic water bottles with an R/O system which made us happy 😊. Our whole experience here made us feel like we were part of their family and I would heartily recommend it, jodi and Dave CAM ON! 🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful place, super friendly staff, delicious food. It is a must to visit this place while in Vietnam! We spent 3 nights at this venue and we think it is the right number of days for the attractions that are on site. A lot of guests came for 1 night, which I think is too short for this place! From the very beginning, the staff takes care of guests with the highest quality of service. Really, the two gentlemen who are at the front desk are fantastic. They will help in everything, explain and give recommendations. Thank you very much for such an experience in such an a**osphere. The facility itself is magic! Beautiful cottages, beautiful greenery, which the staff takes care of every day. Free kayaks, bicycles, fishing rods. I recommend taking advantage of the on-site cooking lessons ( spring rolls and pancake). The hotel also arranged for our transportation to the bus station in Can Tho. Food is delicious!! starting from amazing breakfast, ending with delicious dinner The surrounding area is beautiful, we recommend biking anywhere - you're sure to find something that interests you along the way :) In the area we especially recommend the dragon fruit farm. We decided to take a tour on the Mekong (it is not run by the hotel, but by a separate agency). It was very enjoyable - a visit to a water market, a cocoa factory and a rice paper factory.
