Homestay Songngu Pisces

My dad and I loved our stay with the Homestay Song Ngư Pisces. Cindy and Matias were very welcoming and always around to offer information or help us set up tours and things around the village. The workers are kind and the food is so fresh— everything comes straight from the market down the road! We were set up for a Mekong Delta boat tour and our guide, Daisy, was incredibly kind and open. She helped us to have a very personal experienced, which we greatly appreciated. We recommend!

We loved our stay with Cindy and Matthias. Two very kind sweet people. They were always ready to give you advise or help you plan whatever was up next. The food was amazing and their offered tours were absolutly fantastic. + the homestay itself was absolutely beautiful and so cozy. The things we did and loved: - The floating market (must do): which was a special experience. They have their own boats which will take you to the market. We had the most wonderful guide, named Tieu Phung. She works for the homestay and is so sweet and has a lot of knowledge. We visited a fruitfarm and it was incredible how much she knew about all the different fruits. She gave us so many advise and tips for our journey. Also the boatman May is absolutly wonderfull and such a kind man. We learned a lot. - jungle tour: a paradise which isn't very known so we were all alone out there. We had our amazing tour guide to show us around and made sure we had a great time. - Cooking class: first you go to buy the products at the market and after that you Cook your own meal. It was so cozy and after we all sat together and eat. - To finish the cooking class we also did the rice wine tasting. They have one of the best ones I ever tasted. Matthias who made these himself really explained them all to us and the best thing is you can buy some bottles to take home. We coudn't get enough of them.

Great Homestay with nice hosts and a couple of chill dogs. Located in a calm area with a tasty restaurant next to the river. The room was spatious with airconditioning and a seperate bathroom with shower. I enjoyed the guided trips in the area. First a bike ride around the Mekong delta, enjoying the nature and visiting some local cultural spots. Second, I visited the floating market at which I had a really great breakfast. I also enjoyed the cooking class in the evening end the rice wine tasting afterwards!

We liked it very much. We first visited a small floating market and then crossed a small canal to the famous CAI Rang market. After that, we visited a rice noodle factory and an orchard. Anna went to a lot of trouble and told us a lot about the area. We really enjoyed it :)

We had an amazing stay. The highlights were the bicycle tour and boat trip to the floating market, especially as we were guided by the fabulous and knowledgeable Tieu Phung (Daisy). She made our visit extra special. The food and service was great too:

We were visiting from Australia and had an amazing tour with Thuy from Song ngu homestay. She was really wonderful and explained all the history to us, we ate amazing food and had a lot of fun. We had the best day out on the Mekong. Highly recommend!!!!!
