My recent stay at the resort left much to be desired. One would expect a high level of communication and transparency when booking a luxurious getaway, but unfortunately, that was not the case. To my dismay, I was not informed about the lockdown of the pool for an event prior to my arrival. It was only upon checking in that I was informed of this inconvenience. The lack of prior notification was highly disappointing, as it would have allowed me to adjust my plans accordingly. When I raised this issue with the staff, their response only added to my frustration. They claimed that they couldn't find my contact information on my Agoda reservation. However, this explanation seemed illogical, as who could possibly use Agoda without providing an email address? It became evident to me that the staff member I interacted with was being less than honest. One of the main attractions of the resort, the pool, is often regarded as its signature feature. It was disheartening to discover that I couldn't even capture a picture of this iconic spot due to the unexpected lockdown. As a guest, I had hoped to enjoy the pool's serene ambiance and create lasting memories, but instead, I was left feeling deprived of an essential part of my vacation experience. Overall, my stay at the resort was marred by poor communication, a lack of transparency, and a disappointing inability to enjoy the facilities that I had eagerly anticipated. It is my sincerest hope that the resort takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving their communication channels and guest experience in the future.
