On arrival we thought it was fantastic, 5 mins from airport, looked very clean and straight across from the beach. On check-in we were delayed so didn't arrive until 2.30am, a man greeted us and seemed very nice, but within 5 mins his whole attitude changed and he became quiet aggressive. A young guest arrived in covered in blood with a serious head wound (looked like he had fallen) the man on reception just kept shouting at him to go away, we said it was fine and to see to the young man but he refused even going as far as to say he would put him and the other people trying to help him out if they didn't stop asking for help. He then threw change from our tourist tax down and took us over to show were breakfast was, when I asked is this were dinner is he stated you only have breakfast I said no we are half board, he then shouted when I ask you a question you reply only yes or no. Very rude. We did not encounter him again on our stay nor did we see the young guy who had injured himself or the 3 other people who had tried to help him. Anyways lift very small, rooms ok but all glass balcony so if people in all rooms you couldnt enjoy it, as you see everything.. we were also located right above a very busy roundabout so sleep was non existent. On out 1st day it rained all day so we decided to eat in the bar, there was 2 of us and 1 other guy in bar he ordered food and so did we. Within 2 mins of him getting his food he returned it, but then half our food came, nachos with cold chilli mince, we sent these back after alot of difficulty with language barrier and asked for it to be heated then came the chicken burger, it was a frozen processed piece of chicken in a bap that the bottom was frozen. Rather than return it and face the confusion on barmaids face again we wrapped the food up in napkins paid our bill and left to find the nearest bin. We then walked over to the Indian on the seafront and paid for another lunch (which is amazing btw) highly reccomend the indian the staff were super friendly and food was so fresh. We put the do not disturb sign on our door only to arrive back to room to find cleaners had been in twice on our first day. And each time they left the room seemed to be worse. We had silver fish insects in our room, dirt on floors , and long dark hairs in the bed (im blonde and my friend had green hair)we didn't complain to reception as the check in man didn't seem very approachable and being 2 girls here on our own we didn't feel it would be safe to say anything while still there . The hotel is situated 2 mins from palma aquarium which was fantastic, the beach is also beautiful. Some of the hotel needs alot of matinance, it is also situated right on a very busy main road and roundabout. With little to no soundproofing it was hard to get any sleep. The local police seemed to spend alot of time in front of the hotel, and the sound of sirens became our nightly lullaby! Our last day we spent at the pool as we had to c

Your experience at a hotel is colored by the person who checks you in. In my case, this person was very rude and impatient. I am an old lady, I was traveling alone, I was tired and not feeling very well. I registered through Experian and had some trouble finding the confirmation number she wanted on my phone. Although no one was waiting behind me, she was very impatient and spoke in clipped, brusque tones. When I finally got checked in I asked her how to log in to the hotel wifi. Again, she spoke rapidly and impatiently in accented English. It was hard to understand her. She spoke to me like a person trying to to shoo away a fly. Finally I told her she was being rude. When you're in the service industry, the correct response to this is, "I'm very sorry; I did not intend to be rude. How can I be of service?" or something to that effect. But like all truly rude people, she denied that she was being rude, then kept on being rude. This woman also walked off, leaving the "locked" luggage room unlocked, where anyone could get into it (it is not near the front desk.). Once she even left the key in the lock. If you leave your luggage at this place, don't consider it to be safe. The woman in question is an attractive blonde who appears to be in her late 40's. Avoid her.

Room does not have a full mirror , They put two single beds together and rent as double room. Hotel looks clean but make sure you don't touch the rails on the stairs as it is extremely dirty. Hotel did run out of water for the past 8 hours and been unable to have a shower, reception can't explain why or when the water will be back ( there's no apology regarding the incident).

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Sant Jordi. The staff were kind & helpful, the room was clean & the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a very good location, a 2 minute walk to both the seafront & Palma Aquarium. Would definitely recommend & would stay here again if we come back to Can Pastilla.

Stayed in the hotel for 1 week late October. Should have done more recearch because Majorca was almost all closed. Approx 1 in every 10 shops was open. The hotel breakfast was the same old same old every morning. Stayed for dinner once because there was not a great deal open food wise outside the hotel. We found a couple of Indian places and a place called Toni, which was just a greasy spoon but the food was just edable. The rooms were clean but very small, the shower was fantastic and the bedding and towels were changed every other day. It was very windy when we were there. If you were at the beach the wind would pick up the sand and blast you in the face which was painful. The wind was great however for all the wind surfers. I will not be coming to this part again and certainly not this late in the year

I booked this hotel last minute and was really pleased in making this choice. I hadn’t stayed in this area for over 30 years, so recognised some places and was particularly impressed with the updated promenade. This hotel has a lovely modern and fresh feel about it, based in Playa de Palma … 2 minutes from the seafront. Owing to my 2 night short stay - as I only flew in to see the ‘Fiesta de La Luz’ and visit Palma … I didn’t make use of the pool, restaurant or other facilities, due to timings and a tight itinerary. However, I did take a look around and everything looked lovely and appealing. I was allocated a lovely room with a seaview, to which it was lovely to see the night skies during sunset, across the bay. The room was clean, modern and spacious and had a TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and a free safe. The hotel reception is 24hours and the staff that I encountered during my stay, were very friendly and engaging. I took a walk out into Plata de Palma and then back along into Can Pastilla, it is a lovely promenade in which to do so and was very fortunate to have had such good weather too. Whilst out, quite a few low planes flew overhead - which given the proximity to the airport, it was of no surprise. I can imagine that this maybe quite intrusive in the height of summer if you’re out on the beach, albeit I’m sure you’d soon adapt to them. However, I cannot complain, as a flight path schedule has to be located somewhere and this mode of transport is what enables me to visit the beautiful island of Mallorca. I must say that whilst in my hotel room, I did not hear any aircraft noise at all. The airport was under 10 minutes away and the City of Palma within 15/20 minutes maximum. Palma Aquarium is a 4/5 minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel being located in this resort, lends itself to being great for access to many places and together with using the local bus network, it is a good base to explore the island. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in PdeP and C’Pastilla. All in all, a successful stay.
