Balneario Cervantes

We have stayed in the hotel Balneario Cervantes and really enjoyed it. The attention of the staff is very good. We took a package + some extra activities that included the internal swimming pool, external swimming pool, jacuzzi, massages, treatments with thermal waters, facial cleansing. Alll of those were really good, and professionally done . The spa has medicinal water springs that can be drunk during the stay It is true the menu at the restaurant at €24 is expensive but we recommend the media pension ( half-penstion). The €24 menu include a starter, main, dessert, bread & water. Wine is extra but reasonably priced. The food at the restaurant was really good. There is a cafeteria where you can have some tasty food or drinks also at reasosable prices. We travelled by train to Santa Cruz de Mudela and it is difficult to find a taxi to get to the hotel from the station (around 2 kilometers), but with the help of the hotel we managed to book the local one. The area around is very dry in August, but at night you can have amazing view of the stars.

while the hotel is quite interesting and does cater to seniors, the staff were friendly on check in and there was ample parking. The room needed airing out - smelled like a heavy smoker had previously stayed in it. the morning of my departure, I packed my bags and went downstairs for a quick breakfast. Upon grabbing my bags, I left and started toward my next destination. When I stopped for fuel, I found that all the cash had been removed from my wallet and my Ipad had been stolen from my bag. I made several calls to the Hotel without any response - always "we will call you back". Eventually I received an email that basically said, they are not responsible. Zero stars- they have no concept of accountability and room security.

NO VAYAIS NO PERDAIS VUESTRO TIEMPO No se quien se encargara de poner y quitar las estrellas en los hoteles pero el que sea no adormido aquí cy un solo dia. fuimos mi pareja y yo a pasar una noche con una caja smartbox y ya para empezar te dan la habitación en el ultimo rincón del complejo enfrente de una vía de tren que cada dos horas pasa un tren de mercancía. Los muebles viejos rotos sin ningún tipo de orden como si hubieran amiueblado la habitación con los restos de varias casas, había telerañas por todos los lados, arañas... la comoda no se habría los cajones porque estaba rotos, eso en la habitación. En el restaurante no hay carta solo menú que cuesta 25 euros cada uno vamos lo que es un robo,hay una cafeteria que también te sirven cosas para picar pero Werner cuidado porque nosotros pedimos un colacao y llevaba caducado desde julio, el camarero un antipático y borde que no es por nada pero si hubiera sido yo el café que pedimos no lo hubiera cobrado por decencia pero bueno eso es cada uno,ese mismo camarero fuimos por oka noche a cenar pedimos horas y nos dijo que hasta nuestra hora que nos fuéramos a dar una vuelta en medio del campo a 6 grados de temperatura (todo amabilidad)para seguir con su simpatía cuando pedimos la cena que era una hamburguesa y una pizza (congelada) estuvimos esperando una hora para cenar y nos tuvimos que quejar porque la hamburguesa no la había pedido el camarero.
