This hotel is located quite far from the historical part of Florence, in the Campi Bisenzio area, which makes it very difficult to explore the city on your own, because to get to the main attractions by public transport you need to spend at least an hour. And this is the main problem of this hotel, and, unfortunately, not the only one. The hotel is a bit tired, obviously designed to accommodate large groups. This is also evidenced by the organization of dining areas. There were others besides our group. And especially problematic was a group of teenagers who ran around the corridor and screamed until late at night. It was possible to forget about a peaceful sleep, which was already short on the bus tour. The rooms are small but acceptable in size, ours had access to a balcony. The furniture and decoration are old and shabby, the lighting is dim. But it was cleaned up. The mini-fridge did not work, or rather simply did not cool anything. The bathroom has a full bath, but with a glass partition that prevents access to the plumbing, so it’s difficult to wash your hair without getting into the bathtub itself. The bathroom furnishings are spartan, but everything worked properly, the water was hot with good pressure without interruptions, despite the large groups in the hotel. The hairdryer is working, but weak. It is impossible to dry long hair with such a device. Breakfast is also very modest - bread, a couple of types of sliced cheese and ham, croissants, tea and coffee. It can be worse, but compared to other Italian hotels it is quite poor. Since the hotel is removed from the noisy tourist crowds, the surroundings of the hotel are quiet, birds sing in the morning. There is a Liddle store and a couple of pizzerias nearby for dinner.
