"Overall is good. The location is quite convenient. The golf course is in front of the balcony and the scenery is beautiful. The house is quite clean, the kitchen has a microwave, rice cooker, hot water bottle, refrigerator, kitchenware, etc. The only thing to improve is that the wash basins of the two toilets are a bit blocked (the water is slow). You need to wait for the water to flow. The next person can use 😂, and one of the water heaters can't operate without hot water! ! The 16-degree weather didn't have to take a hot bath. It was really cold and shivering. If the above is handled well, it will be more perfect. I will still choose this one next time I go to Cameron. Iris house resort"

"Location: Perfect as middle of Cameron. Easy to access Mall and variety of foods.
Service: Firstly, the owner or management gave wrong location. Secondly, the key was located on P1 post box but lift at P2. Thirdly, at Lift B got 1 lift only, need to wait for very long to go to Homestay.
Cleanliness: No complaint on it.
Facilities: All good as the management prepared food amenities with fridge, cooker and electric stove. Other than that bed and room amenities perfect but the Entertainment system sucks, the TV useless for Indians as only got 1 channel to access other than that the TV and Room Fan remotes malfunctions. The balcony table is not there as on example.
Anyway, i loved the location with surrounding entertaining areas and view from the balcony and window."

"The hotel location is good as it's in the middle of Brinchang town. We have been given a room facing the Coronation Park, the park big clock is noisy as every hour we can hear the bell sound even though we closed our sliding door. The noises from the main road was irritating too. The toilet and the room cleanliness can be improved. The grouting of the toilet, the soap holder is dirty as well as the toilet dustbin, they throw away the rubbish but not together with the plastic bag. The cleaner will only do your bedsheet, change the towels and put new shampoo & bath soap if asked to make up your room. No free toothbrush, so bring it yourself."
"We booked 3 nights in a double bed in the dorm. The box was equipped with sockets, a fan, a mirror and a process. There was also a very large lockable luggage compartment. The spring mattress was unfortunately not particularly comfortable, but it was fine for a few nights. Bathrooms were clean and there was hot water for showering.
There was a small common area with a balcony where water and tea were offered free of charge. There was no breakfast, however (a microwave, toaster and kettle are available, however).
Tours can be booked through the hostel at reasonable prices.
Towels can be rented for 4RM. Washing machines and dryers are available for self-service (8RM each).
Overall, we had a good stay at the Sleepbox Hotel, but you have to be aware that you are sleeping in a dorm with over 30 beds. (It wasn't too loud for us, but it wasn't fully booked either)."
"Room cleanliness to be upgraded .otherwise, the workers there were very helpful. When the smell is dampy, the workers quickly bought the air freshener from the nearby shop. Not sure who is the gentleman who worked at the receptionist.."

"The location of the hotel is not far from the bus terminal of Cameron Highlands, it can be reached within 5 minutes on foot. The town infrastructure where the hotel is located is also relatively complete. The room is almost the same as the express hotel, but the price is only over one hundred nights, and the health is ok. Generally speaking, the price is high"
"Perfect location in the heart of Tanah Rata. Got Family Mart next door that open early, walking distance to shopping mall and park. In front of food court and got many restaurants nearby too.
Attentive receptionist. Have to tell them in advance if wish to make up the room. Basic toiletries. Only bar soap (travel size) provided but got kettle and instant coffee, as well as drinking water inside the room.
Staying for three nights.
Definitely worth the money!"
"The bed is good, the hot water is ok, but the room door feels like it's not safe,😅😅
It's nice to go shopping on foot, go down the streets, it's very convenient
Only the elevator is broken, luckily the room is only on the 1st floor"

Amazing
AAnonymous UserHad a great time at this boutique hotel. It’s relatively new and adopt a very interesting design concept. They only have 10 rooms I think. The landscaping around the hotel was really nice. The location of this place is in Tanah Rata, so it’s not as crowded as Brinchang, also it’s not as congested in terms of traffic. You only get one car park per room. It’s situated right at the end of the street, quite secluded and very private.
There’s no one waiting during check in, basically, you text a number and someone comes out to give you keys to your room and ask for breakfast selection for the following morning. All communication was done through the WhatsApp. We also asked for extra towels and shampoo, owners were very courteous and generous.
Felt very safe for my family with young children could just roam around freely. In terms of amenities, there’s no swimming pool or gym facilities. But there’s a place to do bbq and gather in the common area. They give you the auto gate lock if you were to drive out and come back late at night, you can allow yourself in and lock the gate yourself.
In the morning you can hear very loud bird chirping. The air was very fresh! But we were awoken by the loud noise of grass trimming from next door, some government office. There’s also a dormitory next door and you can hear evening prayers.
Nearby, there’s a lot of shops and restaurants whereby you will find no problems settling your meals, about 5 mins walk down to the Main Street.
Just a few things to note :
- There’s a lot of stairs and if you have elderly in your entourage, it is not very convenient getting to the room. You may ask for ground floor rooms of course. The stairs worked super well for my children though, they just enjoyed going up and down so much!
- We booked loft rooms. The toilet and bath tub is located next to the main door. It’s open concept, meaning if you were to take a shower at night or go to toilet, it’s going to be cold.
- The beds are on the top floor, so if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night, you have to walk down the stairs.
- The bathtub and shower design is not so convenient for young children or elderly.
- Breakfast comes in very cute tiffin boxes. They place it outside your door around 8 plus. However, I always couldn’t catch their delivery on time, and most times the food is rather cold already.
Overall, I still enjoyed my stay very much. I think would very suitable for young couples, and groups of young travelers.
SSunnyWe recently embarked on a family trip to the enchanting Cameron Highlands, where we had the pleasure of staying at a one-of-a-kind hotel for two nights. This hotel stands out in the region not only for its unique architecture but also for its rich history, which adds a certain charm to the overall experience.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff, who were exceptionally kind and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs, making our stay even more enjoyable. One delightful touch was that they offered to wash our car every day, which was such a refreshing way to start our mornings.
Our room was quite spacious and generally clean, providing us with plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. However, I did notice that the in-room entertainment options were quite limited. While there was a television, the selection of channels was minimal, which left us with little else to do in the evenings.
In terms of hotel facilities, there were not many options available to keep guests occupied. We found ourselves wishing for additional amenities that would enhance the experience. One notable inconvenience was the drainage in the bathroom; it was not functioning well, and we often had to deal with water pooling on the floor during showers, which was a bit frustrating.
Despite these drawbacks, our overall experience at the hotel was positive. The combination of the unique setting, friendly staff, and the charm of the area made for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel for a short visit, as it offers a nice retreat, particularly for those looking to unwind in a tranquil environment.
CCheng SiewBeautiful hotel & top notch service and location. However, some cons:
1)Need to climb up 3 flights of stairs (fm outdoor parking) - pretty impossible for handicapped guests
2) I think breakfast need to be upscaled as this is after all a luxury hotel. The food although delicious, is too ordinary & cheap. The buffet spread of just bread/pastries/cereal could be expanded. The fruits at the buffet table were also terrible - only apples & oranges and were of poor quality & grade.

Staycation: Rovers Inn Guest House Tanah Rata Cameron.
Room type: Quadraple room for 2 adult 2 kids. No breakfast ya... can go out for eat or can ”tapaw” nearby and santai² makan outside lobby area. Can go down and make ur tea @ coffee for free of charges. Got quite hour 11pm-7am. However you can go anywhere you want. Given entrance door key in case you come back late night.
AAnonymous UserSmooth check in, arrived at 2pm and can immediately check in.my room was just in front of the pool but the water was very cool,I thought it stated it got heated water but not. So my kids don't go swimming there but luckily got a bathtub so they just soak there. The king size bed is quite big but I add on an extra bed also. Btw we're 2 adults and 2 kids age 7 n 5 can also fit a king size bed. We got a horror story then, at 11pm when we were talking suddenly the tv turned on itself,it happened 3 times after we turned off then it got turned on again. At last my husband cabut the plug 🤣. What is that haa???? For breakfast they don't have many variants of food ,we want to eat more but don't know what to eat.. the price is quite expensive and I feel it's not worth it. Overall I think this hotel is overpriced given that this is a 5 star hotel we expected more but not really worth it. That's all, I hope the zenith hotel can improve to be better.
MMuhammad Irfan FRIt was a very pleasant stay, faced no difficulties whatsoever. The room is wide and spacious, and the balcony was a nice touch to enjoy the cool weather. Breakfast was sufficient and well prepared. You can book tours from the ground floor of the same building the hotel is on, and food options are everywhere nearby. Would recommend.
LLizAzThe hotel location is good as it's in the middle of Brinchang town. GGuest UserThe location very convenient & the room is clean. The water heater system doesn't provide water hot enough to shower. The private parking didn't cater for hotel guest only. So is always full during the nearby bazaar opening hours (mainly from 10 to 6). The hotel have a beautiful garden. It's accessible by hotel guest & public. Therefore is very noisy. During afternoon there is a very loud malay music. I can only fall asleep around 12 midnight. Because outside the rooms there is a mini electronic machine play area for children. The children are so noisy shouting and laughing. Early morning around 5am I was waken by the strong wind blowing sounds. The roof plastic canopy is so noisy. Means the room sound insulation is very bad. I don't think I will come again.
GGuest User*Service:*
Receptionists, housekeeping, and service team are responsive and helpful. Their services meets the expectation of a 4-star hotel. Service may be slower during peak days / hours.
*Parking:*
Small parking space, not quite accesible for elderly or disabled guests.
*Lifts:*
Functions well. Guests need to tap hotel card at the scanner before pushing the floor button.
*Hotel rooms:*
Disappointing.
1. Limited amount of immoble hangers. In our room, only four (4) hangers are available. Where the hangers cannot be removed from the metal rod for easier hanging.
2. Batroom is disasterous. The mobile shower head had its knob removed upon checking in, rendering it unusable. After the knob is fixed, we found out that the shower pipe was defected. Water was leaking all along the pipe instead of from the shower head itself. It was quickly replaced upon filing a complaint to the receptionist
Be careful not to wet the sink counter, as the design makes the excessive water flow dangerously close to the hair dryer.
Close the toilet lid all the time, as the towel rack is positioned directly above the toilet bowl. The flush button is positioned at the left side of the toilet bowl. Push it all the way down then release it immediately to flush.
On the second day of our trip, we could smell the scent of cigarettes and urine coming from the toilet upon returning the room. We had room service and none of the guests smoke. The scent was not there before our departure in the morning. We still don't know where it came from. The scent disappeared on the third day after room service.
3. Only one chair for the room of three. You may want to play music chair to decide who gets to sit.
4. There are some oil stains(?) on the duvet. I'm aware they might have tried thier best to remove it, but the stains do not leave a great impression.
5. On a personal note, there are enough storage space for your belongings int he room. But maybe not the fridge if you're bulk purchasing fresh fruits.
6. Do note that all the headboard backlights are connected to one switch. Thus, no turning off backlight separately.
7. Noise cancelling is non existence. Do expect hearing noises when guests check in / out and baby cries.
8. Alarms will start blaring if you hold down the hotel door handle for too long. I dont know what it's other purpose other than to frighten new guests.
9. The glass door to the balcony was hard to slide open even after unlocking. Maybe it was not well lubricated, or maybe an intentional design to prevent children from opening?
*Breakfast buffet:*
Nasi lemak DIY is a permenant resident at the buffet. The same goes for the majority of other dishes, such as porridge, fun cheong, eggs, pancakes, etc. Everyday, there will only be around 3 - 4 new dishes in the buffet.
The choices of fresh veges are quite limited considering that the hotel is in Cameron Highlands.
It would be a better idea to explore local food outside of the hotel than to come up with a new meal combination from the same dishes every morning.
(The ikan bilis was so salty, I could feel my whole brain shrink just from crunching on one.)
(We found a strain of long hair in the char key teow, none of us had long hair...)
(The fried noodles was wet and soft.)
SsubidesignA nice place to come, chill, have a drink or a meal. Take some nice photos. But don't stay here. We made that mistake by seeing the nice garden etc.
The rooms are totally runned down. TV is from the year 2000, only showing 2 channels - cartoon and sports. Hot water doesn't work, hot shower is must in Cameron. To make things 4 worse, some plugs in the room doesn't work. So it's harder for you to charge your phones. Our 1st and last time here for sure
