Treat yourself to an authentic Maine experience with a stay at this charming gem in Camden ! Why settle for a generic hotel when you can relax in this beautifully maintained historic home from 1806 ? Feel the history with the soft creak of the wide pine floors , be treated with a delicious & creative breakfast made from scratch . My friend and I stayed at the Elms during Camden's Christmas by the Sea weekend. We were new to Camden and new to the B&B experience but are ready to make the Elms and Camden a Christmas tradition. I can think of nothing to say that isn't a superlative. The hosts, Gary and James, were welcoming and gracious. They were also knowledgeable about the area and the events of that particular weekend. The room was comfortable and charming, the breakfasts were phenomenal, and, if you like to shop, the town was perfect for it.

This is a great B & B with comfortable beds, charming rooms, nice extra touches and fabulous breakfasts. The hosts are welcoming and have great recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Elms.

My wife and I recently spent two days in Camden, Maine at the beautiful and historic Elms of Camden. Everything was outstanding- from the accommodations to the breakfasts, from the location to the warm and gracious owners. Gary and James welcomed us and immediately we felt more like friends than paying guests. As for the location, the Elms of Camden has the perfect one- far enough from town to be distanced from the traffic but close enough for a short, lovely stroll to the shops, restaurants and waterfront that makes Camden so special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this very special B&B and we look forward to returning in the future.

What a beautiful place and such gracious hosts! The rooms were immaculate and well appointment with everything you could need, and comfortable! The breakfast was not only delicious but fresh and healthy (well mostly anyway). It was walkable into town and Gary and James made our stay so pleasant. Cannot recommend it enough!

This was one of the nicest inns we have ever stayed in. Our room was well appointed and immaculately clean. We stayed 3 nights, and each morning we had the most sumptuous, impressive and delicious breakfast, but the thing we enjoyed the most was getting to know the innkeepers, Gary and James. They couldn't have been more attentive and gracious. We definitely would stay there again the next time we visit the lovely town of Camden.

My husband and I felt right at home! Gary and James are fantastic hosts, and their bed and breakfast is beautiful. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable.Breakfast was delicious, and a wonderful way to start your day!

We just spent three days in Camden and had the pleasure and good fortune of staying at the Elms. Gary and James are such welcoming hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Elms is cozy, clean and quiet. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Waking up each morning to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee was a perfect way to start the day. The best place we stayed in during our little road trip in Maine. It was the perfect location in Camden, a short stroll in & out of the town centre. Breakfast is homemade, and delicious! Our room was beautifully decorated, almost too comfortable!
