H10 Cambrils Playa

We booked this hotel at the last minute to escape the weather in the UK. We are so glad we did as it was just perfect. All the staff were amazing and made our stay so enjoyable. The hotel was absolutely spotless. We don’t really like buffet food but could always find something nice to eat. Whilst sunbathing you can order delicious cocktails to your lounger and we have to mention Pablo who was great. Our room had everything we needed. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending. We will definitely come back.

We returned to this hotel because we found it perfect when visiting a few years back. The rooms have since been refurnished to a high standard and are very comfortable . The staff are just as hardworking, pleasant and friendly as we remembered and the location very convenient. Sadly there is a but. At breakfast and diner we found ourselves having to sort through dishes, plates and drinking glasses to find ones that were unmarked. (Probably sanitised) but smudged with greasy residue and not very inviting, our friends also commented on the problem. Finally like most hotels in hot country’s the noise of fellow travellers and early morning cleaner moving furniture on hard floors was disturbing, I don’t recall this nuisance on our last visit. There are self adhesive felt strips available that fix to the bottom of furniture legs at least it would remedy this noise We are hopeful these issues are solve and would certainly like to return

Really nice hotel, safe for families and parents travelling alone with kids. I travelled alone with my nine year old. Was very impressed with hotel. Small enough to feel safe with kids but just big enough for decent holiday vibe. Reception staff are very efficient and helpful. We hired bikes from reception (pay cash) and it only cost €24 for a day for 2 bikes. We cycled to Salou and Cambrils. Food was lovely. We always found something to eat and the drinks are reasonably priced. The pool area is very clean and yes there are restrictions on pool toys/accessories but the beach is a short walk away if you fancy that. The animation team were AMAZING!! They instantly put me at ease as they were so welcoming and I knew my daughter was safe with them, even when they went to the park/tennis courts, which are across the road. I did take a wander over to see how they were getting on. She loved it - this was great for me as I felt supported by them. Ali and Oscar were fabulous. Yes the family entertainment section is short but we also enjoyed the main entertainment after Daisy Club departed. And yes that meant later nights but we are on holiday - sleep in!!! We took a day trip to Barcelona organised by Jet2 travel rep. Great day out but be sure and ask when the cruise ships are in the port as these days are much busier. Also buy your tickets to Parc Guell online a few days before as they sell out!!! The hotel is in a nice area, between Salou and Cambrils. Bus stop right outside. Get T10 card from bus plana shop outside hotel.

This is a fab hotel. We stayed on dinner bed and breakfast with easyJet. Hotel staff were all very helpful. Food quality was good. The hotel location was excellent. The rooms have been refurbished to an excellent standard All in all great place to stay

Great holiday at Cambrils Playa. Stayed for two weeks through Tui and never got bored with the food. Great choices at breakfast and dinner. Staff worked really hard and were very helpful. Rooms very comfortable and spacious with walk-in shower. Toiletries provided too which is a great saving.

Nice value hotel. Very clean and impressive pool area. Artificial grass round pool was very attractive and non slip. Breakfast was delicious - choice of everything you could want. Staff all very friendly. Reception could do with more staff at peak times. Rooms immaculate and lovely pool view. Only criticism is the sunbed situation. People reserve them about 7am and then go out for a few hours. By 10am most days none available. Life guard puts warning notes on beds but never removed the towels. Better system needed. Location to cambrils is not very close. Description bit mis leading.

Hotel is immaculate. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Room was spacious (we had first floor room with 2 single beds and 1 double bed with a bigger balcony overlooking tennis courts) room was also cleaned daily and towels changed. The whole hotel feels very clean! Safe is also free and WiFi is good all around the hotel. Staff are very polite and attentive at the bar and round the buffet. Food was good for the most part but there’s plenty places to eat within a 20 min walk either way up or down the coast. One gripe is people reserving sunbeds then not turning up (although the lifeguard started taking peoples towels away at 11am if no one arrived) Hotel is a stones throw away from two supermarkets, a gift shop and a pharmacy so you can stock up on essentials. Beach is a 5 min walk down the road and bus stops are right outside to go to Salou or Cambrils. Towels can be rented (€10 deposit that you get back) One thing to note is that the hotel bar, pool bar and restaurant are all cashless. You can either pay on card or you get a wrist band which can be pre loaded or paid upon check out (or if you reach the €300 limit) Entertainment staff were great with kids (and adults) and there was plenty to do throughout the day. Nighttime entertainment was also great although currently inside so get in early to get a seat. Our first time to Cambrils/Salou and I would return to this hotel!

Our third visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff at this hotel are welcoming and helpful throughout., from reception , restaurant to housekeeping all a creit to H10. Hotel is spotlessly clean & fresh ,as are the rooms ...well done housekeeping !. Food is good ,lots of variety so something for everyones taste. Rooms have comfy beds , good bathroom with great shower. Location is great , beautiful beach just across the road , and flat walkway as far as the eye can see. Would recommend and will be back !.

Negatives: Very hard beds, cold bland food, erratic shower temperature and pressure. Next to a busy main road. More staff needed at peak times. Positives: Fantastic staff, all very welcoming and helpful, always smiling. Very hard working. Spotlessly clean, very relaxed atmosphere, superb pool area. Spacious room, free safe. Free water dispenser available 24/7.
