Hotel Best Cambrils

everything from the staff to the hotel, food pool and location was amazing! Definitely rent bicycles to get around and go for a cycle the scenery was amazing and so close to everything!! The staff were so helpful with transport to and from the airport which made it so relaxing would definitely return

Short walk to Salou from the hotel, along the seaside. Enough choice to eat outside the hotel. Short drive from Reus airport. Although outside school holidays, it gets busy at the pool. Nevertheless enjoyed my stay at Best Cambrils. Best Maritim this year…

Great hotel for families. Friendly and helpful english speaking staff. We stayed for 5 nights on an all inclusive holiday. - close to the beach ( 50 m) - nice clean areas - good variety of food - good variety of drinks: soft and alcohol free as well - entertainment for kids and adults A piece of unrequested advice: when you go on holiday don't forget your common sense at home. The staff is only human. 😊

Positives: Cleaners do a great job. Bar staff are friendly and do a great job Balcony's are nice Location to beach, supermarket & bars is good. Food is good quality - catering staff / kitchen staff VERY friendly. Cleaners who clean the pool side on a night do a very good job. **The beach is very clean, accessible and sand is lovely** Improvements: *Having worked in hospitality and every week travelling for business staying in various chains of hotels both 4-5 star and 2-3 star based on location across Europe - I feel this review is very fair based on 25 years of travel for both business and pleasure* Reception staff. Incredibly rude. The rudest we have ever come across. I was shocked how terrible the customer service approach was. There was a mix up with our booking the hotel had our reservation twice & our package down wrong. They didn't very little to help and correct the mistake. They were very unprofessional and unhelpful. The "band" situation is extremely confusing and very complicated. Maybe the hotel should just offer AI and keep it simple. It would save a lot of time and issues. To actually check in took a very long time. Staff didn't seem to know what to do with passports - this was multiple staff with checking in guests. Restaurant staff - the lady who "patrols" the entrance is absolutely shocking- she doesn't smile or treat any guests with any respect. One of the rudest people I've ever met. I understand that hospitality is a very hard job but without customers there would be no hotel & no jobs. Being polite and able to maintain a professional approach is crucial. This was something that wasn't met. The pool - we witnessed x5 children cut their feet in the pool in very quick succession. Requiring first aid from the lifeguards. Who refused to go and find out what was causing the problem in the pool. As this hotel is part of a chain I will email the management of the hotel chain as I feel very strongly that this hotel is being managed terribly & many staff do not possess the skills and attitudes required of working within hospitality. They literally ruined our holiday.

Read alot of negatives about this hotel, we arrived given ground floor room as requested, the safe and air con not working within 15 minutes this was sorted Isabel on reception was fantastic lovely lady who would help with anything she was able to, rooms cleaned daily, food wasn't repetitive or cold there was alot of choice, and always something we liked to eat, swimming pool is cold but once in its fine, Salou about 40 min walk or you can get bus , Cambrils about 30 min walk but buses every 15 mins, lovely beach across rd lots of parks on beaches, portaventura world brilliant and Caribe water park brilliant personally didnt like Ferrari world, there was not a lot of entertainment but that did not bother us. All in all a fantastic holiday
