Langdon Hall was the perfect place for our group of friends. We were a group of 14 and Kate helped perfectly executive our itinerary of activities and meals, along with coordinate all the rooms etc. Everything on-site was incredible - the pool, biking/walking trail, tennis, croquet, wine tasting, games room, yoga, etc...we unfortunately didn't have time to do everything else the property has to offer - could easily do more time there. All staff were extremely helpful and pleasant...shout out to Jose for the wine tasting, Patrick at breakfast, all the staff by the pool and all servers. Will be back!!

Had a fantastic day at Langdon Hall with my daughters over the Canada Day long weekend. For some reason, I had never been to Langdon Hall all these years. Anyways, I can’t say enough – the grounds were immaculate with multiple seating areas both inside and out. The gardens were fantastic. The pool was very well appointed (and yes, I guess I’m old-fashioned but I love the fact that there’s no sitting on the pool edge with open drinks. Just a bit more classy. Especially for families or older people, etc.) Loved the pool attendant service. Tennis courts, the little fire pits lit up at nite, games room inside, access to the spa whirlpool, steam room, etc etc. The cloister king room was fantastic. Customer service above and beyond - thoughtful notes and making sure that our stay was everything we hoped it would be. Enjoyed talking with the chef team. Food presentation was fantastic. Breakfast was top-notch. Snacks at the bar were delicious. I figure there’s no better time to rate/review a place than during one of their most busiest weekends of the year. So if I had to offer constructive criticism, it would simply be that dinner was slow; for housekeeping to automatically make up the cots with the feather bed topping. In this way, they are consistent with their messaging that the same bedding is used and it’s just as comfortable as the bed in the room. Had a fantastic 2nd night’s sleep! ; And last, but not least, please upgrade the complimentary spa slippers. - the cheap plastic flip-flops were not comfortable at all. I’m not sure if I missed it but I think it’s well worth advertising there is a little tunnel that connects the cloister building with the main building in case of rain, etc. I mean it’s like a short 20 steps but still, it’s a lovely option. The following staff stood apart in terms of excellent customer service: Jonathan - front drive/entrance Maddy and Juby at front desk Julia and Andrew - breakfast Tyler - dinner Patrick and Jack - Wilks bar for mocktails Charlotte at the pool We will be back! Thanks, Langdon Hall!

Assya my wife surprise me and took me to one of the finest restaurants in North America. The Executive Jason Bangerter is one of the best in Canada. The food presentation as you can see in the pictures are second to none. Congratulations to the chefs and all the staff for the hard and delicated work. The place was outstanding and the service was five star . They grow their own herbs, vegetables and lettuce in their gardens. The resort is totally five stars .The overall experience was exceptional . I had a great birthday weekend and it’s still going on & on & another party tonight.Cheers “WELL DONE” Chef Jason

Wow. The attention to detail was outstanding. That is what struck us the most about our stay. LH definitely knows how to take care of their guests. Our room felt private, there was quiet and a peaceful atmosphere throughout the accommodations and grounds. The staff were accommodating and responsive (including to those guests who require their bacon not touching their eggs - which we overheard as a request). We had the tasting menu for dinner and dish after dish was full of flavour and textures that were remarkable. We walked the trails, sat by the outdoor pool and received spa services. We stayed at LH in anticipation of having a relaxing and rejuvenating stay, and LH delivered. We are thrilled that LH is a short drive from the GTA

Fabulous tasting menu at lunch. We were celebrating our anniversary. The tasting menu and service were exceptional. Originally we were seated on a room with a table with 2 couples who were enjoying themselves but the room acoustics made it difficult for us to hear each other. We asked to be moved to a quieter location since listening to the other table was ruining our ambiance. We were then seated to another room that was our private dining room with an even better view for both of us. The staff worked very hard to accommodate us with a quieter location. We have eaten at many Michelin restaurants worldwide, I expect that LH will be awarded a full star next year. Keep up the great food and service!! The tasting menu made it difficult to choose which course was our favourite, since each one was delicious and beautiful!

Can’t say enough good things about Langdon Hall! Beautiful room with turn down service, beautiful property with so many things to do. Every encounter I had with staff was incredible, shoutout to Angel for bringing us blankets while we were by the fire! Ate at both the main dining room and Wilk’s and was impressed by the fast service, great servers and incredible food. Spa was beautiful, clean and my massage therapist Julie was great! Can’t wait to return.

A sincere disappointment for a getaway with my wife and I. My wife put the review on google, hoping for a response to such a disappointing experience literally from the moment we got there. Waiting for our bags to be placed in our room....almost an hour...not even fully booked. We have stayed at the property a number of times. We enjoy staying overnight and look forward to our breakfast. This experience has left a very sour taste in our mouths and we are struggling to understand how a property as renown as yours, a Relais and Chateaux, no less, has fallen to the point of sub standard. To begin, upon arrival, there was no bellhop outside, no one outside of the property to help us or more importantly, to greet us. It all starts at the reception and this vital piece was nowhere to be found. The check in was fine again, but not re-fined. It felt very subpar and almost casual. While we declined needing a refresher on the property no one showed us the exact way to our room, making us head in the wrong direction. We decided to walk around the property while we waited for our things to arrive in our room. 45 minutes later we went to our room. Our belongings were nowhere to be found. We called reception and they apologized for the “mix up” and said our things would be arriving. Still waiting for a solid 10 minutes, we had to call again. Our things did arrive but as you can tell, it’s unacceptable. How can a 5 star property be so careless? We decided to have a drink at the Wilks bar. We were seated and there were maybe three other couples there. Our server, while friendly, was totally clueless. We asked about the cost of, say, a rail drink, and she said it was about the same as one of the signature cocktails. With that being the case, we decided on one cocktail and one rail drink. We sipped and were then ignored. Literally. Every person in the bar was ignored. We finally got our bill and to our surprise, the rail drink cost half the price of a cocktail. So, had we been given the right information, we would have had two drinks each for the cost of two. We did pass by the restaurant to see our server working there as well. No wonder she was nowhere to be found!! She was working two rooms at once? Shameful. How can the service be wonderful in this instance? It simply can’t be. Our highlight included a lovely young woman who does the turn down service and the exceptional servers (also women) at breakfast. They attended to every need and were highly skilled and professional. We have already written to you about dress code and as a private business we are completely DUMBFOUNDED as to why you do not uphold this policy. It is abhorrent to see people eat with baseball caps, sweatsuits and gym attire in your dining rooms. Many other places insist on proper attire and by allowing the masses to do as they please you have truly set a low bar for your property. We doubt we will be back anytime soon. Truly, we did not feel our time and money was well spent at Langdon Hal

Stayed at Langdon Hall for my 25 wedding anniversary. The accommodation and service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this facility. My only caution is if you have mobility issues don't book the cloister rooms as you will have to walk down stairs to them. Overall a beautiful property.
