Creekside Inn Downtown

It's a kind of motel. If you planning to stay here, remember to prepare for drinking water. Tap water is not drinkable, but hotel doesn't provide water dispenser ( instead only ice dispenser, which I think stupid for the weather there is cold), and even no bottled water at all in the room, also no water kettle. Shops are quiet far, have to drive, and closed a bit early. So if you came late, no water, it might be a big problem. The room and bed is quite ok though.

Not welcoming staff but the room was nice. Room was clean. Matched expectations. Woman at the front desk was not friendly and ignored some of my questions at check in and hid in the back when we came to check out.

Just an average motel. Clean bathroom but beds were just meh and bedding same. It was a decent stay for somewhere to rest our heads for the night. Nothing extra or special about what they offer.

We had a great stay. The room was just what I would expect, clean, well supplied, comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here on my first trip to Cambria 30 years ago. I've also stayed at a couple of the Moonstone Beach hotels, but decided to try Creekside again because of happy memories from the past, and proximity to the many shops in town. Place was very well kept, and very clean. I was welcomed warmly by Samantha, who must work very hard to keep the entire facility clean, tidy, and welcoming for guests. There wasn't a time I didn't see her either working at the front desk, or (during the day) helping the housekeeping staff keep up with the influx of guests. I really can't say enough about how much I appreciated Samantha for her help and graciousness. I'll definitely be back to this one. SUCH an easy walk into town, I must have gone back and forth multiple times per day. Also started a LONG bicycle ride from the hotel location, and enjoyed myself immensely.
