Camber Sands Holiday Park

Make a bear was brilliant and better than build a bear, rhianna and Amanda were on it and giving the girls everything they needed and chatting to us like we had known each other for years! Lovely experience. We have been to make a bear 3 times in a week ❤️

Make a bear experience was such good fun, Rhianna was lovely and helpful she made the experience so good. Would highly recommend this experience and the cost was not high so good for a rainy afternoon. The outfits are an additional cost at £10 so be aware of that before!

We've just got back from a week at Parkdean Camber Sands and had a great time. Having read a lot of the recent reviews before our arrival, we were a bit apprehensive about the hygiene of our accommodation but I'm pleased to report the lodge we stayed in was spotless and extremely well equipped. We stayed in the same type lodge as we did last year at Parkdean Whitley Bay so we knew roughly what we were getting, but it was fantastic, even better. We did arrive the week local schools started back (our holidays were a week later) so I don't know if that impacted the park's ability to maintain it's self, but without being stupidly busy, it felt a nice balance of the park being populated without bursting at the seams. Everything was clean and looked after. There were a lot of different activities available, of which we did several, including adventure golf, indoor clip and climb, krew heroes VIP, off road rangers and swimming. They were all good. Our 7 year old absolutely loved driving around on the off road rangers (located at the adventure bugs track) but be careful if you're an adult with back issues as it's a bit unforgiving in this regard. Don't let it put you off if you're in good health though. The krew heroes VIP was fantastic value at £12.50 pp as the kids got a snackbox which was usually £7 and a light up lanyard which ordinarily was also £7. So they essentially got a discount on these two items with over an hours' entertainment thrown in. Swimming was by far the best swimming experience we've had at a Parkdean. Firstly, it was properly heated! The slide was also really cool and the kids loved it. Special shout out to the lifeguards that were all very vigilant and made sure everyone was following the rules. All the activities available was where this park shines in comparison to others. We didn't have much luck with the weather as it chucked it down on 6 out of the 7 days but there were indoor activities to do to. Entertainment at the Park was excellent, all made possible by their wonderful team. Cameron deserves a special mention as someone that was brilliant with both the kids and adults. Funny, entertaining and all being a male that wasn't uber camp! A first in our Parkdean experience. Amanda was great with the kids and Loreya (sorry no idea how to spell your name!) was a really good singer, along with some of the other girls. I'd also like to give a special mention to the security around the park and just generally how well the park is ran. This is the first Parkdean we've been at that was strict on who it lets in. Nobody could just waltz through the barrier in a vehicle. This is something I found really refreshing. Security was always in and around the showbar/boathouse/arcade area. Also as I mentioned with the lifeguards, it just appeared everyone was 'on it'. It was also very clear what activities was on each day, information that isn't always prevalent at other Parkdeans. We booked a lovely lodge at parkdene cambersands holiday park for September 5th 2025. We arrived got our key and looked for our lodge. We were shocked to find that we had been put in the most tiny caravan which hadn’t even been cleaned properly. Sent to reception to complain, the didn’t know why we had been down graded after paying for a lodge. Went on live chat all week got offered was a refund and 20% voucher off next holiday. Will never trust them again So had to travel back home holiday spoilt, impossible to speak to someone on the phone
