Fabulous staff at this family run hotel; great views and very good dinner and breakfast. Parking was easy at the Capitinarie 200 yards along the road. Impressed to see the lobster tank being meticulously cleaned out. We look forward to returning.

A wonderful stay
Friendly and welcoming staff in all departments. Comfortable bedroom and very good ensuite shower room, excellent lighting and good provision and positioning of power points, which is often not the case in many hotels. Excellent breakfast and exceptionally good restaurant with superb dishes at reasonable prices.

We returned to the Hotel de France because we enjoyed our stay last year. The hotel de France exemplifies all that we like about Logis de France: small hotel, personally managed and supervised by the owners, friendly and attentive staff, good value for money. In the morning we enjoy having a table with a view over the harbour and taking our time to enjoy all the options available from the high quality breakfast buffet while watching night turn to day (in October). This year we thought the evening offer was superior to last year with the bistro menu option and some simpler dishes better suited to the smaller appetites of octogenarians such as ourselves - all served professionally with a friendly smile. Health permitting, we will return next year!

We stayed 5 nights here on our first visit to CSM. The hotel is well situated for easy access to many restaurants and has great views from sea facing rooms across the port. Parking is free but about 200 metres from the hotel on the quayside so remember to unpack everything during the short stay allowed right outside. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast buffet very tasty and the restaurant provided us a superb anniversary dinner of super fresh fruits de mer. A very enjoyable stay.

Highly recommend this lovely small hotel. Wonderful harbour-front location. Great welcome by the team; very comfortable and pretty room; excellent restaurant for dinner and very good breakfast. Out of season, parking available directly in front of the hotel.

Nice hotel but noise deterred from higher rating
Check-in early!, Receptionist had limited English but still helpful. Room was well equipped but was above the kitchen of the hotel rest – very noisy at night, Rest was very good＞

Hôtel très bien situé au bord du bassin de Camaret avec vue sur la chapelle Notre-Dame de Rocamadour et la tour Vauban. Chambre confortable et fonctionnelle. Petit-déjeuner bon et varié. Le restaurant de l'hôtel le Quai des Saveurs est également bon et agréable sûrement l'un des meilleurs restaurants de la Presqu'île. Personnel sympathique et professionnel.
