Fergus Bermudas

My friend & I visited Palma Nova recently & stayed at the Fergus Bermudas - we were happy with the hotel it was very clean & nicely laid out - we didn’t use the pool area but it looked good - our room was a good size & nice big balcony- bathroom was clean but prefer a walk in shower- food was very good & the staff were all friendly & polite - entertainment was fine & animation team were lovely - paid tourist tax & for safe but get €5 back when returning key - it was close enough to the beach & shops quite central- all in all a good stay & would go back again - it was Halloween & they celebrated in style lovely free cocktails & fun

Fabulous small hotel, very clean , great location for everything staff very friendly through out the hotel , lovely pool area, big rooms very comfortable beds would definately recommend this hotel , pedal bikes and towels available to hire from hotel

This hotel from the reception to the pool, bedroom, buffet room were all very clean and well maintained. The bedroom are spacious, cleaned every day . All the staff are very pleasant obliging amazing. The location is central very near to two beaches and shops restaurants.

Just returned from bermudas fergus Hotel. Staff very helpful, Room clean but had to move as Shower was flooding the room, blocked drain,We moved within 20 minutes. Breakfast was great,lots of choice, Evening meal was great but needed more choices of hot meats, We were Half Board they catered more for All inclusive, At lunch time they didn't have a lunch time Menu or any hot food choice for people who were H/B, We had to ask if they did food at 1am, they fetched some cold food and set it out on the side, But not hot food like chips or Hot food. Could not choose, All inclusive ate in dinningroom with a large choice of food. their was free Cold water on tap. Very Poor Selection of ICE CREAMS,Some days Nothing EMPTY. We had to walk to the nearest shop for them. Sitting round the pool unable for the kids to have a Ice Cream. No information Pack in room, I.e. Meal times & Event times. Poor Selection of Broachure for Things to do and go. Bar area very limited to bar snacks in the evening. Adding a few more missing Extras this Hotel would be Perfect . It's all about the little thing's..

Originally via Easyjet our tour operator we were due to stay again at the Eix Lagotel in Alcudia but they changed our dates and venue. So we were moved to the Fergus Bermudas hotel in Palma Nova. General Whilst it was initially a shock (as we loved Eix Lagotel) we are happy to report we enjoyed our stay at Fergus Bermudas, which we found to be very clean. Our Room (224) We had a quiet pleasant twin room with a balcony over looking the tennis court which despite it being on a road junction was very well insulated. Comfy beds, nice storage spaces, British, French, German and Spanish TV channels and a great shower. Also as there is no natural water source directly next to the hotel, thankfully our room was mosquito free! The only downside was the bathroom had a recurring smell meaning we had to airate it throughout the day. The Staff The hotel had very friendly staff throughout, Salva on the bar and Alice in the restaurant were especially lovely. Restaurant The usual buffet’s for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As the buffet’s themselves I would say the breakfast was the best. The lunch and dinner buffets we found didn’t vary that much from one day to the next. Also the food whilst generally good was at times either hit or miss. The restaurant is attended by a friendly bunch of staff who get drinks for you from the bar whilst you dine. All Inclusive All meals included and light snacks on offer at other times. We don’t drink so only ever had soft drinks and hot drinks but assume there is a range of alcoholic drinks included (although we heard not all cocktails are included in the deal). Other catering on offer Sadly we found no bar menu on offer when the restaurant was closed. Whilst this didn’t greatly bother us, our 6 foot plus 15 year old looking to baulk on an all inclusive balked at the idea of an eclectic mix of petite sandwiches, cakes and viennoiserie’s on offer. Hotel Facilities The hotel we found was more geared towards couples and families with older children. There were only a few families with younger children. To this end there are no climbing frames our outdoor play areas for younger kids. There is also no gym on site, which for a 4 star hotel is unusual. However what they do have is: Activities on site; One pool with sun loungers around Two way (poolside and inside) bar open from 11am till 10pm Bingo (held each night and it was FREE!, the prizes were non all inclusive cocktails and a champagne bottle) Evening events like live music and karaoke Daytime events (board games, and family games) Tennis court (tennis & badminton rackets with balls & shuttles available) Table tennis (bats and balls maybe also available but never played it) Pool table (this was out of order during our stay) Outdoor soft seats Paid bike hire available Location, Location, Location! The hotel has an excellent location. Just a 2 minute walk from two large beaches with a wide variety of shops and restaurants on the seafront within a 5-10 min

This is almost word for word copy of our last review! We have recently returned from our 11 night stay at Bermudas (5th visit) and have to say that we had a wonderful time there and are already booked for our next (18 night) visit in May 2025. We once again chose a standard room (tennis court side) which was wonderful – the pool view rooms which we’ve had on earlier visits had too much (for us) sun on the balcony!! All the staff without exception work really hard and nothing is too much trouble. Once again it was so nice to meet with guests from previous visits - in fact the whole experience (guests & staff) is like being one big happy family. As always, it is so nice to see guests of all ages getting on together - no-one feels out of place no matter what age. We were booked AI and at all meals there was definitely something to suit everyone – probably breakfast had the better choice. Bearing in mind that the meals have to appeal to guests from many different countries we really think that the hotel kitchen staff do an amazing job – and everything was constantly replenished as necessary. The hotel & its amazing grounds are kept in spotless condition; the location is perfect for access to all parts & (for us) a big bonus that the surrounding area of the resort is all on level ground. Can’t wait for next time.
