Sol Palmanova Mallorca

Just had a lovely stay with my little family at Sol Palmanova , no issues what so ever and a perfect location. Entertainment, fantastic (acrobats, foam parties, pool parties ect) & kids club , super - the staff work so hard! A huge thank you to Mila (Isla my daughter Isla adored you) we will definitely be returning :)

After staying here in 2016 weeks couldn’t believe our luck when we saw the bargain price for this 4* ??! AI hotel which we where so fond of last time we visited We arrived late just before midnight with around 10 other couples and where given tokens to go and use at the bar as the bar was closing soon so off we all went tokens in hand and wristbands on sat and had a nice chilled drink before making our way back to check in where once there was 2 there was now a new one on his own luckily for us we where second in the queue checking in was painless felt for those at the back Rooms are becoming dated possibly an up grade needed for the 4* bit we only sleep in them and shower although the cleaners where constantly switching the aircon off every time they came in which drove us crazy especially with 30+ degrees heat every day not sure the temperature went below 26 during the night either so please leave the aircon alone if we leave it on it’s for a reason Breakfast and dinner in the dining room we found this was where the hotel had gone downhill rapidly since our last visit extremely repetitive and all done on the cheapest we where there 7 days and dishes witnessed where the same for 3-4 days alternating either night never even heard of beef and bamboo I have now ! All in all very poor on the food front Snack bar we visited every day for lunch and to be fair it’s what you expect from a. Snack bar burgers hot dogs pizza chips salad toasties to order etc Etc Entertainment as gone down hill rapidly too I’m sick to death of circus acts wasn’t struck on them beforehand Im definitely not now how many different circus acts can you have in one week boring or what Glad we going the Irish bar early on Last day we booked the shower room for 5pm only to be told when checking out that the lady’s colleague hadn’t booked it correctly so we couldn’t have that time latest availability was 3.30pm meaning a lot of sitting around in the heat until 7.45pm I know you saying it’s air conditioned wait till your here and see our good that is ! Ok truthfully if your looking for a cheap holiday with not so good food where everything is done for the cheapest then this is your place get it booked if not then don’t bother try elsewhere as this place as gone downhill fast gone from one of the best holidays to one of the worse We won’t be returning anytime soon poor hotel with genuine hardworking staff it’s seems the owner’s are letting you down

It was what you expect from an all inclusive. From doing my research I knew I was out of season and because of that Sol Palmanova 2 was the only hotel open. It didn't matter that there was only one pool open as they have a solarium with sun loungers which is where I chose to be. There was also plenty of seats and tables outside to sit on and be in the sun. There was plenty of good food choices, there was always something to choose from. The help yourself to drinks was especially good, this included wine and Amstel beer and soft drinks and there was also still and sparkling water. So I never queued at the bar. I found the hotel and amenities clean. I would say the only issues I had was one of the beds in my room only had 3 legs but I actually didn't mention the bed issue to the reception as I was solo and there were 2beds. Also the lifts seemed very old, so they seemed wobbly. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was brilliant, you can go to the back of the building through a gate. You'll need your key card to get back it. Head straight over past the playground and you'll come to a beach, if you follow it around you'll come to some restaurants and shops which are just a stroll away. All in all I was very happy with my long weekend away!

Prior to going to the hotel we were in contact by email advising we required a walk in shower due to my disability . Reluctantly we agreed to not have a pool view & had to have a land view. If you are disabled or can’t get in/out of a bath/shower you will get the land view. The day of arrival we were shown to our room, no walk in shower. Cue 24 hours of complaints , we were moved down to the first floor right on top of the bins still over looking the overgrown field which is the land view. Each morning woken at 7.15am by the bin men unable to sit out due to the stench or have the balcony door open. By day 5 numerous emails to Melia head office we were offered a room at the front, which had a walk in shower. This is the same view we originally asked for but were told they didn’t have rooms at the front with walk in showers. The hotel, staff were fantastic and entertainment being out of season was good. The food was always warm although a bit repetitive. We have been to numerous Sol hotels and could have done to have had a kiddies corner for food and change them instead of having the same burgers, hot dogs, pizza for the kids. The beaches only 3/4 minutes away are fantastic and the sea clear. Would we go back, yes if we got room 106. If we can’t then sadly no as we don’t want the bins, the bin men alarm call at 7.15am and the overgrown field land view So if you have any form of disability unable to get in/out of a bath/shower this will be your ‘land view’

3rd April 2025 - Just got back from Sol PALMANOVA Mallorca. Went as a couple for a few nights. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The food was outstanding which a huge selection to choose from we had salmon, steak, pork, paella, pizza curry, burgers, fish on the menu daily. The hotel was very clean with it being cleaned constantly throughout the day. Amazing selection of beverages with cocktails included and self serve soft drinks to choose from. The staff were all great, friendly and approachable and spoke a high level of English. When I read some of the reviews before going to this hotel o was sceptical however, while there we were struggling to see what people were complaining about. We will definitely be going back to this hotel. The location is perfect, so close to the beach and about 30 minute taxi transfer from the airport costing roughly €50, one day. My advice is to book it, you won’t be disappointed, we had no bad experiences.

DONT BELIEVE ALL THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, I've just spent 5 nights here with my partner, staff friendly, room clean, amazing views, amazing location, local transport, food may be a little repetitive but plenty plenty options and some slightly different dishes each day anyways, help yourself to all drinks in the restaurant, tokens might be a little bit annoying but it is a good idea I can't argue that, at the end off the day you're paying for a 3* hotel and the holiday is only what YOU make it, we had an amazing time and would come again
