Very good location and facilities are outstanding however quite noisy in the evenings with being near the BCM Club

Just back from a great family holiday in Oct half term,all staff worked hard,everywhere was clean,lots to do & lovely beach nearby,we went in the theme park everyday,crazy golf & upside down house our favourites but enjoyed all the park had to offer.Splashzone & soft play worked on a session basis but gave plenty of time in both,both large & small pools were well manned with lifeguards,some of our party were especially delighted as Strongbow was on draught in main bar & pool bar🍻lots of choice for food & each night was themed,cakes were the best Iv ever had,very tasty & proper slices,lots of sweets & fruit too & self serve ice cream ,entertainment was very good some nights,there was a candy floss machine which for a small price,you could choose your own design/flavour,fabulous . My only negative was the queueing system at the evening meal,one long queue formed & took 10-15 mins to complete & maybe the children’s disco could be improved but having said this we had a great holiday & would 100% recommend for families, Well done to all the staff👏

Sol Ka**andu is a fantastic place for families. We were only there for four days but managed to spend every waking minute inside the resort chilling out and having fun. The splash park and Upside Down house were brilliant - managed most of the attractions two or three times. The only minor downside was the evening entertainment. We had three children aged 12-14, and once the pool and attractions had closed, they were bored. The kids entertainment is aimed more at younger children. Maybe it's just the time of year, but we are definitely looking at coming back during the summer holidays very soon! The food and drink was amazing. Different dishes every day. Was a little confused with the rules of the pool area - we were told that food isn't allowed within 1 metre of the pool, yet we were sat about 15 metres from the pool and still wasn't allowed to take food to our sunbeds...yet there were a small minority of people that seemed to do this without being challenged. That said, we will definitely be back!

Just returned home from a weeks stay at Sol Ka**andu and where do I start. We went as a family of 4, with a 3 year old and a 3 month old baby and we had the best time. Hotel- the hotel is immaculately clean and staff are constantly walking around picking up and cleaning. Also whatever cleaning products you use smell divine!!! Room was comfy and bright and airy. We had a large kingsize and double sofa bed which was great. Food- the food is good, wide selection’s of food at every meal time and amazing desserts. My son is gutted to be home without an ice cream machine on hand! They also prepared breakfast for us when we were leaving very early in the morning. Staff- all the hotel and attraction staff are amazing, they constantly helped and answered questions as well as running in to play with my son George in soft play and making his experience great. Attractions- we booked this holiday to take pressure off finding something to do with our toddler and it did not disappoint, the 4d rides and cinemas, splash park, soft play and our favourite, the upside down house. We did this at least 3 times a day at my toddlers demand. Entertainment- the entertainment around the hotel is amazing, all of the staff are so welcoming and lovely to the kids, we especially loved the kids disco and our morning meetings with all of the different yetis. Overall, we had the best week at Sol Ka**andu and had the holiday we really needed. Highly recommend!!

This hotel is fantastic for children up to age of 10 clean friendly staff great entertainment food good every day great choice the downside room had three single beds quite small big bathroom small balcony and no drawers so room was quite messy cleaner change beds every day the 2 pools were great apart from big pool having no shallow end plenty to keep kids going all day 5 min walk to beach with boat excursions would highly recommended this hotel

This was my first holiday with the children and was recommended by a friend. All I can say is we had the best time, the staff were amazing and friendly and I do need to mention Venezia on Reception, she was so polite to my children even after the 100th time they went to see her about something and also Mai from the soft play/4d games, she was so amazing and pleasant. The room was a standard and it was perfect for us 3, didn't need any more as we only spent bedtime in here as we were out most of the time. The food was good and a good choice, kids enjoyed trying different foods. We will definately be returning to this wonderful hotel. The kids entertainment is great and love the fact is goes on until 9/10pm and they even line up and say 'goodnight' at the end of every night as everyone goes up to bed! its the little things thats so nice.

Just arrived home after 5 wonderful days In Magaluf at Sol Ka**andu hotel and resort. After usually holidaying in Dubai I was a little worried it would be a bit rowdy and what I remember from my club 18-30 days. I was really pleasantly surprised! The hotel was so clean and welcoming. The theming was amazing, staff super friendly. There was 5 of us travelling, 2 adults and 2 children aged 2, 5 & 7. We had 2 interconnecting rooms with 3 beds in each room plus 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. Whilst on the smaller side they were immaculately clean and provided us with a nice base for a few days. We had a cleaner visit every day who made the beds and provided fresh towels. We opted for half board when booking but upgraded on the 2nd day to all inclusive for €290 for 5 of us. We just felt this would be easier so the children could just help themselves to drinks/ food etc. The food was amazing! So much selection, really great options for hot and cold. Pudding selection was delicious, soft drinks included also. The waiting staff were so attentive and quick to clear tables so was always a clean and pleasant space to dine in. We enjoyed the live food stations and had an omelette for breakfast most mornings and enjoyed steak, Turkey and prawns of an evening. There was also a snack bar which you could get burgers/chips/ left over food from the buffet. We were really impressed with the food! There was so much entertainment. We used the splash park, soft play, VR rides, golf, pools, kids clubs and mini disco along with the evening entertainment. All were great quality! Once again everything was immaculately clean, well maintained and thoroughly enjoyable. As mentioned we had a fantastic time so 10/10 for sol ka**anu. Just a couple of pointers to future travellers: - The pools are only open 10am-6pm, we have early risers so felt on the first few days we was waiting around for a couple of hours for something to do but you can walk the 5mins to the beach. After a few days we woke later so wasn’t as much of an issue. - No food around the pool, again we liked this as it kept it clean and tidy but just keep this in mind if your planning on snacking around the pool. - No large inflatables. Again this was for good reason as I can imagine it would be kaos in the peek months with to many inflatables but just don’t waste your money on huge inflatables as they will be removed from the pool. - The ‘park’ including the soft play, VR rides, upside down house etc are all only open between 10am-6pm also. Again we felt we would have liked to visit these places in the evening as a form of entertainment so we could enjoy the full day in the sunshine but just plan this into your day if you want to use them. - The splash park is only open between 12pm-6pm and every 1h 15m they let a new group of people in so make everyone pack up and leave even if your a hotel guest. Good entertainment for younger ones - say 8 and under. Not so much to do for older kids. The park is good for an hour or two. Splash zone looks a lot bigger in the photos and is aimed at the younger ones. Food was average. Same stuff to eat breakfast, lunch & dinner despite them having 'themed nights'. We ate out most lunch and dinner times. We're a family of 5 and were put in 2 separate rooms (no connecting door). Some staff serve you certain drinks on the All Inclusive whereas others tell you they're not included. Very central - close to Magaluf and Palma Nova beach - both of which are beautiful and we had some really nice meals down at Palma Nova beach. Not the hotel's fault but we had the same couple arrive home at 2.30am for 3 nights in a row, arguing for one reason another (yes, we heard it all!).... Amazes me that parents can drink till that hour in the morning when in a family resort with kids but hey ho. Would we visit again? No.

Lots of people rely on him to know they are getting a trust worthy opinion on somewhere that you could potentially be spending a lot of money. Hotel looks amazing and so much to do. X
