Our room #432 was not large but had a balcony with an excellent panoramic view across the rolling hills and up to historic Caltagirone centre. The hotel is not within easy, safe walking distance of the town - requiring car use which was a problem when we returned as there was limited customer parking available (max 10 spaces it seemed??) with half of the car park roped off for the occasional tour bus!! The pool was closed between 1pm and 3.30pm - with the sun largely disappearing around 4pm - so only useable in mornings?? Breakfast was mainly cakes and pastries with some fruit but there were very high extra charges if you wanted anything hot - Eu 6 just for a fried egg!! We didn't try evening meals as there was no obvious menu and doors appeared closed?
