B&B Girosa

I rarely write a negative review, I carefully evaluate the pros and cons, but in the specific case for this property, I find myself forced to do so. We decide with my husband as soon as we wake up, to go to Caltagirone, we contact a series of structures, but for the courtesy expressed by the lady who answered the phone, we opt for this B&B. We ask for a whole series of information and the lady promptly reassures us about everything. We also ask to be able to use the breakfast (paid separately) and the lady guarantees us that the sweet breakfast (chosen by us) is very varied. Unfortunately, once we arrived on site, the first cold shower: the son of the owner who welcomed us, told us that we would not be staying in the B & B, but in another structure a little further away, which, by telephone, had been well looked after by the specify. So to have breakfast, we would have to go out and go to the second B&B. We arrive at our accommodation, which was not a B&B at all, no sign, and a name and surname on the intercom. We go up some steep stairs, also this particular not mentioned in the description of the accommodation, and entering the room we notice double bed with COLORED cover and sheets that have done their "job" for many years, given the wear and tear. Never happened a B&B with non-white linen (obviously more hygienic because white is washed, unlike colored garments, at high temperatures). Bathroom with a rather high step and not marked with a visual strip, for the night. Last sore point the breakfast: bad. A croissant heated in the microwave that obviously has softened a lot and 2 jams. Watered down cappuccino and stop. The son of the property asked for immediate payment as soon as we arrived and as soon as the ATM showed us, he asked us for 4 € tourist tax (not mentioned before), the next day no one came out to ask if everything was fine, he did leave the keys to the cleaning lady. NEVER AGAIN

Gentilezza, stanza pulitissima e soprattutto servizi efficenti, a pochi metri dal centro storico, ci sono stato per qualche notte, il giorno dopo ho trovato sempre tutto pulito e sistemato, ambiente accogliente...! Consigliatissimo
